(Running out of pictures lmao, here's a picture of my socks.)

Michael skulked away quietly to the kitchen, I took in a deep breath rubbing a few wrinkles out of my shirt then I opened the door. Yep, it was Laurie alright, she looked different, a lot older actually. I remember seeing her when me and Michael was out on our killing spree years ago. Her hair was no longer short and brown but shoulder length and blonde, must've dyed it. She was also wearing these thick rimmed glasses that made her eyes pop out. If I wasn't in the situation I'm in I would laugh. But this is serious, she's obviously here for something, and I can tell by the look on her face that she knows something. But I got to act calm and casual.

"Hello there! Can I help you?" Y/n said smiling at me. I cleared my throat trying to look behind her to see if she was home alone, then I glanced back behind me. "Do you remember me?" I asked her, she stopped smiling and thought for a moment, then her eyes lit up. "Oh my god! You're Laurie Myers!" She said shockingly. I nodded very eagerly, "Yes that's me, you probably know me because of-"

"Michael." She said quickly cutting me off. We stood there for a few seconds in awkward silence, then I realized she was still waiting for me to finish talking. "Look, it's Halloween, you know that Michael escaped the insane asylum right?" I asked her. Her eyes grew wide and she gaped at me- just like I imagined she would. "H-he's escaped?" She asked again in a small quiet voice. I nodded, not sure what to say at this point, this is all I wanted to say actually. She looked behind her anxiously and back at me, "Why don't you come inside, I think we need to talk." She told me. She stepped aside and let me inside of her house, it was cozy, warm, and welcoming. I followed her into the living room, there was something wasted on the rug and shattered glass around it. "Made a little mess cleaning, it's fine- I'll get that up." She told me chuckling. I gave her a reassuring smile, I know it's alcohol, I wonder if she has a problem with drinking too. She left the room and came back with a broom and dustpan and swept up the broken pieces of glass, then she left the room again. She came back to the living room and sat across from me. "So he's really out there?" She asked me. I nodded, "He's been loose for about 6 days now, no one has found him yet." I told her.

She nodded sympathetically listening to every word I was saying. She didn't seem at all scared or bothered by the news, I wonder does she know how close she lives to the house. "Laurie, you seem really stressed right now, would you like some water?" She asked me politely. I realized how dry my mouth and throat was from all that running around I did. A nice cold glass of water sounds nice, I would prefer gin, but right now with what's going on I need to be alert. I nodded, "Yes please." I said softly. She smiled at me and got up, leaving the room again. I looked around the living room, there was a photo of someone sitting on the shelf above her fireplace. It looked like a girl, I stood up to go get a closer look. Y/n walked back in the room as soon as I did, holding a glass of water that was filled with ice, it looked so refreshing. She handed it to me and I thanked her, sitting back down. "I think I'm gonna call the police, it's Halloween, he could be close by." She told me, reaching in her pocket and grabbing her phone. I nodded and sat down, I started drinking the water, the feeling of it going down my dry throat was wonderful. I finished the whole glass and sat it down on the coffee table.

I looked up and noticed that Y/N was still on her phone, she looked at me and then at the empty glass on the coffee table. She put her phone away, now laying back on the couch. I looked at her confused, why the hell isn't she calling the police? I was gonna ask but I wasn't feeling so well, everything was blurring around me, I felt like I was drunk. I stood up fast knocking the glass off the coffee table, it shattered on the floor.

My ears were ringing so loud, but I could still hear what she said.

"Do you really think I'm just gonna let you put my man back in the asylum again?"

Laurie looked at me in surprise, then she fell back down on the couch. I got up and looked at her closely, yep she was unconscious. Thank god I had that stuff on me, I knew something like this was gonna happen. I slid the coffee table off the rug then I went back in the kitchen and grabbed the broom and dustpan. Michael was standing there, with my kitchen knife clenched in his hand so tightly that it was shaking. "Put that down Michael, she knocked out." I told him calmly going back into the living room. Michael followed behind me closely and when he saw Laurie passed out on the couch he raised the knife ready to stab. "NO STOP IT!" I yelled at him. He slowly lowered the knife, and tilted his head at me. "Not yet, I wanna have a few words with her first, then we can figure out what to do with her." I explained to him. His head was still tilted, he didn't understand. "We can't just murder her like that Michael- she's been in this town for a loong time, I'm pretty sure everybody and their mamas knows her. If we kill her people are gonna find out quickly that she's missing, they're gonna put the pieces together and check your house. Then they're gonna come to mine, because of what happened years ago between us. They'll find out." I explained.

He seemed to think for a moment about what I just said, then to my relief he went back to the kitchen and came back without the knife. He was still looking down at Laurie, I could barely see his eyes through his mask, but I can tell he was staring at her with so much hatred. I swept up the broken glass and ice cubes and emptied it in the trash can. I came back in the living room, Michael was still standing over Laurie staring at her and breathing heavy. I don't trust him being alone with her, he might try to kill her anyway. "You must be really hungry sweetie." I said softly wrapping my arms around his waist. He was so tall that I had to stand on my tip toes to do that. He took his eyes off of Laurie and was now staring down at me, he started to stroke my hair lightly with his large hand, like a child. I closed my eyes smiling, enjoying his touch, his scent, his presence. I let go of him again , "I'm gonna make pot roast, you need a nice home cooked meal, I don't know what they feed you in that place you were at. How about you go shower and get out of these bloody clothes, I'll tie her up." I told him, batting my eyes at him and fiddling with my hands. He's so charming to me, I still get a little nervous around him. He stood there staring down at me for a few seconds, I was worried he wasn't gonna listen, but he slowly turned around and I could hear him walking up the stairs.

I still stood there, my breath held listening to his foot steps. I could hear him making his way to my bedroom- our bedroom. Then I heard the water running, good. I breathed again and looked back down at Laurie, I cracked my knuckles. "Alright Laurie, let's get you settled in." I muttered. I walked back into the kitchen and rummaged through a few drawers until I found what I was looking for: Ropes. I'm so happy she's here, we're all gonna be a wonderful happy family, whether they like it or not.
