It was the day everything was supposed to happen. Maya had it all planned out. The first step of the plan was removing Rudra from the way of her revenge. She had to keep him away and safe from all of this.
She sent him a message saying that she wanted to meet him, alone. She sent him the address of her new residence and told him the time. She knew that he would come. She knew him well. And this time, he will come to kill her.
As she expected, Rudra did come, exactly on time. She watched from the window as he climbed up the stairs to her apartment. She could see the gun in his pocket. She smiled to herself. He really had enough now. The door was unlocked. He entered. However, he didn't expect to be hit hard on the head as soon as he came inside. He fell into someone's arms. He heard someone whisper something to him right before he passed out. He knew the voice too well to not recognize it.
"I love you, Rudra."
