S I M R A N

Flashback~~

It was one fine done while I sat beside Avinash in our tuition classroom. Today was Avinash's chemistry test in which he was cheating, and I was helping him cheat. He had his late tennis practice session the previous night and studying for the test slipped off his head. Poor memory I tell you.

And adding to the fact that he was the ideal student, cheating on a mere tuition test didn't quite suit him, but alas here we are.

We both sat alongside on the seat according to our seating arrangement. The teacher had given me a few mathematics sums to solve but I cared less about it, the main priority being helping my crush.

I'd my maths notebook on my lap, next being Avinash's chemistry notebook and on top of that my rough notebook on which I was supposed to solve the given sums. The books were arranged in such a way that his chemistry notebook was sandwiched between the two.

I narrated to him answers to every theory asked in the questions while he solved the rest of the numerical swiftly as Mr Smarty pants he was. Our shoulders almost touched and our fingers brushed ever so swiftly, his natural scent hit me overpowering my senses.

I felt dizzy with the proximity as my heart hammered against my cage, ready to break out. My whole body shivered and goosebumps erupted on my skin. I forced my lashes at him as I looked at him with hearty eyes.

I was falling in love with him because of the million things he never knew he was doing.

A year, a whole damn year had passed since I first met Avinash Thakur. And now he's my official crush. I remember telling Sumedha about him and that Bish had been teasing me since then. She partially stalked him on his social media platforms and now both follow each other on Instagram as well as Snapchat. Meanwhile me? I never had the guts to initiate a single conversation with him.

In the whole past year, we did sit in the same seat but never shared a proper conversation. And now a year later our classes have been separated, so the only time I could see him is during lunch breaks in school and sometimes on my way to tuition and vice versa.

It was finally lunch break. Lunch break means I can roam the whole corridor without any restrictions and no one could judge me for it.

I along with Sumedha hurriedly finished our tiffins and dashed out of our classroom.

After pushing past the scattered clowns which I called my schoolmates I finally found Avinash's classroom. A big smile makes its way onto my face as if I've achieved something big. But yeah! The mere thought of at least having a glimpse of your crush makes you do things like this, right?

I stood a little distance away from the gate and tried to peep my head inside making sure not to get caught. Keyword, tried. I roamed my eyes in the whole bustling classroom to get a sight of my favourite pair of brown eyes. But luck seemed to be not in my favour. Suddenly out of nowhere, he appeared just out of the classroom doors partially in front of me. And to my dismay, Sumedha pushed me in this direction making me lose my balance. But to my luck I stabilized myself from falling face first on the ground, kissing it. I tell you my best friend is an aA-gradedarsehole.
