6: A mistake?

"So that will be all for today" Mr fin our math teacher says walking out

I hadn't even been concentrating on my surroundings to hear damian calling out to me

"Hello? Earth to Valerie"

"What is it" I deadpan

"School is over and we need to go" he says getting my backpack for me

"Thank you but I have hands"I collect my backpack from him and walk over to avery's desk

"She's still sleeping"damian says moving forward

"I can see that" I was getting really impatient for what was about to happen soon

"Avery get the fuck up!!" I shouted

"What is it"she hissed and didn't even flinch at my loudness

"It's time to go"

she quickly got up and got her backpack and we began walking and she suddenly stopped

"Wait I need to wait for lewis to get done with his extra classes"she says  rubbing her eyes to get the sleep out

"Lewis?"damian asks

"Yeah he's her boyfriend end of discussion let's go to where lewis is" I roll my eyes but smile internally

My plan is finally working

We walk over to lewis's class and hear muffled sounds coming from inside

"Do you guys hear something" I say innocently

"Yh I think it's coming from inside" avery says unlocking the door to be met with lewis and a blonde girl in a heated making out session

"What's going on here" avery says with tears running down her eyes

I am so sorry but I'm doing what's best for you

Lewis and the Blondie quickly disengaged from their act and lewis's eyes held shock

I manage to stop myself from smirking

"Damnit I swear it's not wha.." i immediately stopped lewis from continuing his nonsense by slapping him "oh you think we are stupid to not know what's going on here, please save the speech" I say while looking him in the eye, his jaw clenched and I felt like slapping him again but I threw that thought away

Avery ran outside crying while lewis went after her

"I will go afte her, lewis can't be left alone with her"and with that damian ran after avery

I immediately walked over to the innocent looking blonde and eyed her up and down

"So why did you do it?"I said but couldn't do it anymore I burst into laughter and the blondie joined me

"Wow you you are such a good actor scarlet" I said patting her shoulder

"I know I know but what can I say" she said scarlet was a friend of mine I met recently but she doesn't even attend my school, I didn't have to convince her to do this, she loved having fun as she said, so she agreed to do this

"Thank you so much for doing this,I hope avery sees who he truly is now"I hugged her

"No problem,he is a good kisser though" she shrugged parting away from the hug

She was a whore no denying it but she helped me so I don't care

"Ok I got to go now, thanks again" I said turned around to see avery, damian and Kristen?

What was going on? How did she get back so quickly

I instantly began to panic

"Uhm what are you all doing here"I tried to play cool but I could already see the pain and betrayal in avery's eyes

Gosh I fucked up

"Was everything thing I heard just now true"avery said getting closer to me

I didn't respond,I didn't know what to say, I looked around but scarlet was gone

Traitor

" Tell me!!" avery was practically shouting and fuming now

" Yes It is, but I did it for your own good, I told you lewis wasn't good for you " I was hurt and tears were building up in my eyes,I wasn't one to cry over little things but avery was my sister and I couldn't bear seeing her hurt and angry

"I can't believe you would do this" and with that she left and I turned around and fell down on the floor, I heard footsteps going away so I guessed kristen and damian went after her

I immediately started crying and buried my face in my knees when I felt someone's hand on my shoulder but I didn't care who it was

"She's just angry, she will cool down soon" that's kristen's voice, what's he doing here I thought he left

he wrapped his arms around me and I didn't object and just lay my head on his shoulder and cried my eyes out while he stroked my head

I didn't want  him to have to see me in my weak State but it couldn't be helped

After about 10 minutes I was myself again, kristen helped me clean my tears and gave me a kiss on the forehead

"It's okay, now let's go" he stood up And grabbed my hand and put it in his while we walked to his car

The tears still flew freely from my face but I cleaned it up before kristen
turned around

Now the only thing I got to do is patch up with avery, this isn't going to be easy.
