"What?? What are you talking about? Did she really do this" - I said with frustration on the phone
"Yes she did"! - vineet answered from the other side of the phone
"How can she do this? She is not even answering my calls and even not replying to my text" - I said taking the sip of my coffee.
"You know wh"- "samruddhi" someone interrupted me
"Hey ahaan" ! - I waved him hi
(Ahaan is classmate. We are really good friends but within this year I have felt something else with him. Like it was weriod. I don't think I have feelings for him or... Maybe..yes! I feel. I feel safe and happy being with him. I have felt the feelings which I have never felt before) .
"Hey! Oh sorry I interrupted u ,I was not knowing u were on the call "- ahaan said with a sorry face
"No it's alright nothing important.
Vineet I will call u later"- I said before hanging up the call .
"Vineet?? Who.. is vineet? Your boyfriend"?- ahaan asked hesitatingly
"No!! No! Ofcourse not. He is my best friend"- I said waving my hand in no gesture.
"Ooo!! I thought"- ahaan said. Will resting his face to normal and releasing the steaf sholder into normal.
It felt like as if he was happy listening to that.
"Hmm"- I hmm
And was thinking something of how to make Avantika pick up the call
And I suddenly got an idea
"Ahaan!! Can I use your phone for a minute please "- I asked
Yes! Ofcourse why not!- he said by taking off the phone from his pocket and giving it to me .
"Thanks yaar"- I said happily
"88............"- "hmm it's ringing"- I said
"Pickup the call Avantika! Pick it up!" - I said it with fingers crossed
Finally a voice from the other side of the phone.
"AVANTIKA!!!! Thank God u picked the phone. Where are u stupid. Do u know how many times I and vineet have called you? Why don't you reply?"- I asked her
The moment she said the first word I got to know something bad has happened.
"Are u ok dear"- I asked with worried face
"No I am not ok sam"- Avantika said will crying
"Oh.my.god..what happened? Should I come over " - asked her
"No no need to . I want to be alone"- she said
"Ok !! Fine take your own time and tell me. ok . Just don't cry. Vineet is so worried about you. Please at least text him once"- I said
"No I don't want to talk to him"- she said with little crack in her voice
"Ok!! Don't talk! But Avantika he has been your best friend since 7 years. I don't think he deserves this type of treatment. So please try to understand him too. Of course it's your choice but still think about it "- I said by avoiding the eye contact with aahan
"Ok I will"- she said sadly
"Good.ok then u come to college tomorrow we will talk tomorrow ok "- I said
"Ok bye"- she said
"Yes bye. Take care"- I said before cutting off the call
"Thank you ahaan . Here take your phone "- I said with a sweet smile
