Before The War

One month and a half later(timeskip)

Boruto's POV :

Its been one month and a half since that last warning Kara gave. I am curious because Kara should launch their attack by now but what stopped them . NO,NO,NO Boruto what are you thinking ? Kara must be planning this delay to weaken our guard so they could launch their attack on us . Nice try Kara but the hidden leaf is protected . 

The main gates are temporarily shut along with the others but the south gate is kept open in case of evacuation but that gate is highly secured . Inojin's chakra detection team is keeping an 24 hour watch on the chakra signatures of people those are present in Konoha. The range for detecting chakra had been increased by 800 metres to prevent damage . In short the village now is highly secure and with no gaps . Other than that all the shinobi's are trained well and the civilians are kept alert on urgent evacuation . I think I also have trained enough in these one and half month but if situation go worsen I have to use the power I kept secret from everyone including my Dad and Sensei. 

KARA'S HIDEOUT :

Daichi : Hey man what was your name ? oh yes Code . SO code when are we going to attack I am already bored 

Code : Sir our team is ready for attacking Konoha 

Shibai : If its so then why didn't we attack ?

Code : To my apology sir this is going to be a full fledged attack so we are taking care of each and every backup plan possible to escape 

Eiji : So when can we attack Code ?

Code : I have planned to attack in two days 

Soka : Good Code , Now let's teach the shinobi what it takes to take on the Otsutsuki as their enemy 

Leaf Village............

Boruto : I'm Home

Saruto : Welcome back Dad 

Boruto : Thanks Son

Saruto : How was your day ?

Boruto : It was good plus tiring . Where is Sarada ?

Saruto : Mom is in the kitchen 

Boruto : Okay go to your room I will call you at the time of dinner 

Saruto : Okay Dad 

Boruto walks towards the kitchen.....

Boruto : Hey Sarada 

Sarada : Welcome Home Boruto . How was your day ?

Boruto : It was good but I missed 

Sarada : You missed what ?

Boruto : -suddenly hugs Sarada- I missed you 

Sarada : Really ?

Boruto : Yeah and also scared 

Sarada : Now what are you scared for ?

Boruto : About the upcoming war if during this battle something happens to someone I love specially you and Saruto I will never be able to forgive myself

Sarada : But you will not let happen right ? You are the eighth Hokage afterall 

Boruto : Yeah you can count that on me

Sarada : I trust you Boruto 

Boruto : Sarada Thank you for everything 

Sarada : Now call Saruto for dinner 

Boruto : Right 

Boruto calls from down...

Boruto : Saruto come down for dinner 

Saruto : Coming!!!!!!

Saruto came down and sat next to Sarada....

Saruto : Hey Mom what did you make for dinner ?

Sarada : The things you like son . Ramen 

Saruto : Really !? Thanks Mom

Boruto : Yeah it was first my unfavourite but after I ate it with my Dad it became my favourite .

Saruto : Dad I have some amazing yet sad news for both of you 

Boruto : What is it ?

Saruto looks down and closed his eyes but when he opened it and looked up Boruto almost spat the water out of his mouth . Sarada was also shocked 

Boruto : S..S..Son you awakened the sharingan with two tomoe ?

Sarada : But how ? What happened which led to this incident

Saruto : -sad look- Actually we were assigned to a mission and during that my best friend Hiroto was almost killed but he was saved but the attack caused my anger to rise ultimately leading to awaken the sharingan 

Boruto : So how is he ?

Saruto : Better but not recovered . Grandma Sakura is incharge of him 

Boruto : You better be careful because I don't want you to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan

Saruto : The Mangekyo Sharingan ? Like the one mom has ?

Boruto : Yes 

Saruto : Dad please explain what is this sharingan ?

Boruto looks at Sarada in an indication whether to tell him or not but Sarada nodded so Boruto started explaining....

Boruto : Listen closely Saruto . When an uchiha faces a situation where his/her emotions are heightened the person awakens the Sharingan . The sharingan has three stages as the number fo tomoe increases . You have two tomoe that means you have stage 2 but if you had one tomoe you would become stage 1 . After the three tomoe appears you shaingan is officially complete . But if the uchiha with three tomoe sharingan faces the death of any loved one his/her sharingan gets converted in Mangekyo Sharingan . The abilities of the Mangekyo Sharingan are different as per the user . For example your grandfather can use a black flame called Amaterasu . Using his right eye he can cast it and with his left eye he can control the flames . Whereas your mother has the same black flames of destruction but she also has a pink flame which heals the person who is shot using it .

Saruto : Wow so cool . Dad please tell me about the Amaterasu 

Boruto : The Amaterasu is  black flames which can burn anything into ashes and this fire is inextinguishable and it can continuously burn upto 7 days 

Saruto : Wow so amazing power butthe process of obtaining this is not good .

Boruto : And that is the reason I don't want you to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan because if you overuse the Mangekyo you will become completely blind but your grandfather can't get blind no matter how much he uses it 

Saruto : Why ?

Boruto : Because your grandfather has the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan which is free from all the limits of Mangekyo Sharingan 

Saruto : So how can someone awaken it ?

Boruto : Thats the main problem . It can't be awakened . If a Mangekyo user implants the eyes of another Mangekyo user inside him then that person attains the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan\

Saruto : Okay by the way Mom I completed my dinner I am heading back to my room

Sarada : Okay GoodNight Son

Saruto : Yeah Good night Mom and you to Dad 

Boruto : Good Night Son
