~~Harley~~

I woke up to Peter in my arms, his back pressed against my chest. I needed to go to the bathroom, but I didn't want to wake him up.

I tried to detangle myself from him, but he rolled over and held me down. He buried his face in my chest.

"Hey, darlin'. I need to get up." I whispered, rubbing his back.

"No," he mumbled. "Stay."

"Love, I need to use the bathroom." He didn't reply, but he reluctantly let me go.

"Thank you," I said, and got up.

"Hmm," he hummed. Clearly, he was not a morning person.

When I came out of the bathroom, he was sitting up, wrapped in the blankets, just... staring at the wall. I walked over and sat beside him. "You good, darlin'?" I asked him.

"Yeah. I'm just tired," he said groggily. He leaned against me.

"I can tell," I laughed and stood up. "Come on, let's go get breakfast."

He stumbled out of the bed and looked down at himself. "I didn't change last night." He muttered. He looked up at me and smiled sheepishly. "Uh... could I borrow some clothes?"

"Yeah, of course." I walked over to my wardrobe and gestured inside. "Take your pick."

He went into the bathroom to change into the clothes he picked out - a loose black top that would have been tight on me, and black sweatpants. I threw a white hoodie to him. "You'll get cold."

I wore a fitted blue top and grey sweatpants with a black hoodie.

We walked down to breakfast, talking about nothing, avoiding the subject of last night. We reached the kitchen, and the Avengers were just... sitting at the table. Holy. Fucking. Shit. I'd never met any of these guys before.

"Hey guys!" Peter said. How was he so chill about it?!.

"Hey Pete," Captain America said. Captain. Fucking. America. "Who's your friend?"

"This is Harley." He led me over to the table.

"Hey guys," Hawkeye said. Black Widow smiled and nodded at us. Oh. My. God.

Tony spoke up. "Help yourselves to breakfast." The table was laid out with pancakes and fruit.

The Scarlet Witch and Vision walked in.
"Oh my God," I whispered. Peter heard me and smiled at me.

Soon, Ant-Man and Rhodey walked in. Okay. At least I knew Rhodey. He's Tony's best friend. I leaned over to Peter. "The only one missing now is Spider-man."

Peter looked at me, his eyes wide. "Uhm... yeah. Wonder where he is." Okay then. Whatever that was about.

We ate breakfast. With the Avengers. Not at all intimidating. Black Widow was probably the scariest. They didn't really talk to us, which was fine by me.

I finished my food and nudged Peter. He looked at me, and I nodded in the direction of the door. Thankfully, he understood, and we excused ourselves.

The second we were out the door, I rounded on Peter. "What the hell?!" I hissed at him.

He looked at me, shocked. "What?"

I stared at him. "That was the Avengers. We just ate breakfast with the Avengers."

He smiled at me. "They're really not that scary. Especially Ms. Romanoff. She looks scary, but she's just a big softy."

I blinked at him. What the hell. Did he just say that Black Widow was a softy?
"Okay, well, a warning next time, please."

He laughed. "Okay, sorry." I shook my head. I still couldn't get over the fact that I just had breakfast with the Avengers.
