"I assume you are packed narcissa" I asked

"Good we are moving to america, so please help nymphadora make sure she is ready, I'd like to be gone in the next few days" I said

two days later harry and the two girls were on a plane to america, harry had went ahead and bought a house in new york since he now had a family to care for, the penthouse looked to be less of a good idea
a week after we moved in a letter had arrived
DEAR SIR HARRISON ULYSSES POTTER III
it has come to our families attention that you have moved to the states, as such, welcome, i wasn't expecting anymore of our family to join us after lily warned us into leaving britain, before her own demise, i should also congratulate you in avenging her and her husband
i invite you and your partner, if you have one, to join us in aspen, colorado so that we can meet and potentially discuss business, as well as get to know each other on a personal level

i showed the letter to dora who was more then happy to go, and so we left the house to the elves and narcissa and took a plane to colorado, where a chauffer was waiting for us
"Mr. harrison potter" the man asked
"yes" i said
"i am alexander hawthorne, welcome to the USA, and to colorado, if you will follow me, we can collect your things and i have a car waiting for us, and please call me alex, it makes everyone's lives significantly easier as a result" alex said
"a pleasure alex, and yes that'd be great" i said
he bowed and led the way, it didn't take long for us to collect our things before he led us to a cadillac, holding the door as we got into the car before he put our things in the boot, and got in himself giving orders to the driver who simply nodded and began to drive
two hours later we arrived at a beautiful estate, with wolf statues on either side of the gate, as we pulled up alex got out and again held the door for us
"sir harrison if you will follow me, the other servants will collect your things" alex said i nodded as i followed him inside
"ma'am if you will follow her she will take you to your suite, sir harrison if you will follow me, i will take you to master evens" alex said
"i'll see you soon" nymphadora said giving me a quick kiss as we separated and i followed alex, he knocked on the door to what was probably a study
"yes" a gruff male voice called as we entered, to find a buff, yet extremely well dressed and elegant individual, it was clear he held himself as a nobleman
"sir harrison, welcome to my home, i am the head of the house, theodore" theodore said, it was clear he did not lose his british accent, by his voice
"thank you, and please call me harry" i said
"then i insist you call me theo, perhaps in the future it will be uncle theo, but i have much to do before i can hold that honor" theodore said, and in that moment i learned something else about the clean shaven man, he was very disarming, he reminded me of neville in that regard
"thank you theo" i said
"sit please, drink" he asked
"firewhiskey if you have it" i asked, the man smiled

"good point" he said pulling out a bottle of firewhiskey

"disappointing but not surprising, i will start with this then, what do you know of the relationship your mother and father had" theodore asked
"i know my mother considered my father a bullying prat, which he was, but she gave him a chance in seventh year, causing him to mellow out" i said
"do you know why, it wasn't because she finally got tired of his advances, if that were the case she'd likely be with that snape fellow it was because your grandfather and my father, had come out of a rather nasty war, the grindelwald war for wizards, world war 2, for muggles, my father was a weapons manufacturer, and through my sister's family my father learned of enchanting, the potters were very keen to aid him, and so we started to produced enchanted weaponry in secret, which later became my families company after it branched out and started creating other more mundane products to coverup our enchanted weaponry, with your families company providing the magical knowhow a perfect partnership, your father, a skilled enchanter himself, was set to inherit both companies as they would merge into avalon industries, with his death that inheritance fell to you, as a child of both potter and evens family, a magical child at that" theodore explained as i drank my firewhiskey i was definitely interested
"i have been running both companies nearly twenty years now for obvious reasons, i expected you to come to me about this years ago, obviously that didn't happen and you've just told me why, i would have invited you here on your twenty-first birthday to prepare you to take on the business, but since i got word you moved to the states i figured, now was a good time" theodore said
"i'm grateful" i said
"i have been thinking, well my daughter has done that for me, she's magical you see, and we are in contact with the american auror corps, and the american muggle military, the three of us would like to put together a private military firm using the enchanted weaponry created, to essentially deal with any upstart dark lords wanting to cause trouble we'd also act as a sort of secret black-ops force for any rather difficult missions in the mundane world, in return we would retain our autonomy and would be allowed to function as we deem fit" theodore said, i nodded
"how big do you want this firm to be" i asked
"five full regiments, so approximately fifteen thousand soldiers, we would then break that up and reformat it into a form we deem fit, the MACUSA and american mundane government will provide the manpower we provide the other resources, we didn't have a leader for them yet and i also needed your authorization to get this idea off the ground, the mundane army would supply us a base for our use, camp wheeler in georgia i believe was the one they were preparing it is near the town of macon" theodore said
"i just left a war, i'm not sure if i'm willing to re-enter one" i said
"ah that's the beautiful part, you don't want to partake, assign an officer to lead the troops into the battle your job will be mostly administrative" theodore said
"i'll think about it" i said, the older man nodded
"in the meantime enjoy aspen, enjoy my families home, i can assure you that you will not be left wanting"
