Dae Hyun stared at the cut across the back of his hand. It was time for roll call – and there was a big problem. He hadn't seen In Seong or Su Ji in several hours since In Seong came back earlier. Dae Hyun rubbed the back of his hand, trying not to think about where those two ran off to.

It was something they'd do freqently when they were idols.

In Seong and Su Ji were best friends before becoming group members and they'd just go off without telling anyone. They got into a lot of trouble with their manager and the company because they wouldn't tell anyone where they'd go.

Dae Hyun rubbed at the cut as the soldiers walked by.

"The banishment of the infectee's schedule today had been cancelled." Dae Hyun looked up to one of the speakers. So, the rumors were true – there was someone who was infected in the stadium. "The infectee was monsterized last night, and the Crow Platoon subdued her. Please do not be alarmed and prepare for roll call." Everyone stopped, looking towards the speaker upon hearing that news. "That'll be all."

Dae Hyun let the soldier look at the cut to prove he wasn't turning into a monster. He kept his mouth shut for a while until the soldier looked at him and back into his room. "Where are your friends?"

Dae Hyun gulped. "Um..." He apologized to In Seong in his head. "I... I haven't seen In Seong or Su Ji since last night, sir." Dae Hyun said. "In Seong was upset last night... and Su Ji followed him. I didn't realize they hadn't come back until I woke up." Dae Hyun as he lowered his hands to his sides. Neither the soldier nor Dae Hyun realized that his wound healed over.

"Is that so?"

Dae Hyun nodded as he closed his eyes. "In Seong has been going outside, sir. With Eun Yoo."

"Why did you tell them?" Yeong Su complained as Dae Hyun helped search for In Seong, Su Ji, and Eun Yoo. All three of them hadn't been accounted for since last night after roll call. "They aren't doing anything wrong." Yeong Su said.

Dae Hyun sighed.

The one thing about Dae Hyun was... he didn't like In Seong

When Dae Hyun auditioned for the company, In Seong was already there. He had been training for a year already. At first, Dae Hyun liked In Seong, he thought the kid was hardworking and determined. But slowly, Dae Hyun lost respect for In Seong. And when In Seong was the first one out of the trainees to be told he'd be debuting, Dae Hyun was jealous.

That jealousy only got worse when he found out that he'd be debuting with In Seong.

When Dae Hyun found out about In Seong's suicidal thoughts, there was a small part of him that wished In Seong would commit suicide.

The jealousy and hatred for In Seong just increased until the breaking point.

Dae Hyun was the one who created the Twitter account and spread those rumors about In Seong. In the back of Dae Hyun's mind, he didn't think In Seong would be forced to come out or their entire group to disband over it. Dae Hyun wasn't thinking – and he couldn't take back what he had already done.
