Kamen Rider Zi-O: Hazbin Hotel

S1/Ep.1: Overture

Episode Summary: Charlie pitches Heaven her plan to save sinners by way of redeeming themselves through her Hotel. Vaggie enlists the staff to make a commercial to promote the hotel.

A week had passed in the Annual Extermination and Shio joining the Hotel. Much has changed for the young Kamen Rider as he helped around the Hotel. Since he was working there. Shio was given the job as hotel security and also being the Hotel's chef cooker.

The reason for the second one is due to the fact that Shio was an amazing cook. During dinner, he cooked a few dishes, and everyone loved it. This was no surprise since his father always taught him how to cook and thanks to being a deity, he had knowledge on how to make various types of foods from multiple different cultures. As a result, whenever there was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Shio would be the one to do most of the cooking.

On the other hand, Shio told the other residents who and what he was, all of them both surprised and shocked to see a literal deity standing before them. Meanwhile, Charlie was excited to learn about all the worlds Shio went to and wished to know more about them. Not wanting to disappoint her, Shio told her about most of his adventures and the friends he's made.

Of course, Vaggie would watch them and glares hatefully at Shio for how close he's gotten with Charlie. Over the week, this had led to several confrontation between the two which led to several fights. Shio tries to tell her that there is nothing going on between him and Charlie, stating that he isn't trying to drive a wedge between the two and that he respects their relationship. However, Vaggie doesn't believe him and continues to attack him. However, much of that was soon put to a stop when Charlie intervened and forced the two to work together for her sake. This caused Vaggie to stop trying to attack Shio but that didn't mean she liked him.

However, during the past week, Charlie began to learn more about Earth's custom and culture, considering the fact she hasn't been there for decades. But what really got her interested was the theme known as cosplay. Something she learned from Shio when he talked about Japan. She interested, especially when it came to the songs sung by Japan, and she wanted to dress up like one of them.

One example was when Charlie got interested in cosplay and she dressed up as Hatsune Miku.

[FLASHBACK]

Shio: (confused) "Charlie, you want me to do what exactly?"

Charlie: "I want to look like this character called Hatsune Miku."

She shows Shio an image of the Vocaloid character she wants to dress up as.

Charlie: "I'm curious about this 'cosplay' thing and I want to try it."

He glances at Vaggie who glares at him, but she sighs and gesture him to give a go ahead. Sighing, Shio snaps his fingers and soon manifested clothes for Charlie to cosplay in.

Shio: "Here, you'll look like Miku by wearing this."

Charlie: (smiles) "Oh thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"

She takes the clothes and rushes to her room. It took a few minutes, and she reveals herself. Both Shio and Vaggie go wide eyes seeing her new appearance.
