141.Narrow-minded

Krystal watched with reddened eyes as Lisa held Jennie's old phone without any issues. Even though Jennie's phone was both dirty and old, he did not appear to mind it.

Back when they were at the Yu Ting Villa, she had tried to show him a video recorded on her phone. It was of Jennie confessing to Kai.

However, before he took the phone, he made Bambam clean it thoroughly with a handkerchief. It was as though her phone carried poison.

The difference in treatment...

She gritted her teeth in anger and nearly crushed them into smithereens.

She dearly wished she could butcher Jennie into mince meat!

Sooner or later, she would have Lisa cherish her and keep her in the palm of his hands. She would make him understand that she, Krystal, was the only woman who deserved to be pampered by him!

Her complexion was pale. It was extremely unsightly. Krystal knew that jealousy made a woman ugly, so she took a deep breath in. After composing her emotions, she gave Jennie a reprimanding look. "Jennie, since you always had these videos, why didn't you bring them out when we moved your room to the second floor and brought in the new furniture for you?"

She then calmly told Lisa. "CEO Manoban, if Jennie had brought these videos out earlier, things wouldn't have escalated to this state. She is intentionally trying to worsen the relationship between you and our family. This way, you'll be even more dissatisfied with the Kim family."

Lilan turned to gaze at Krystal in surprise. It was a heavy responsibility to deal with matters this calmly in the middle of a tough situation.

They were not facing someone simple. To think that against Lisa, she could still maintain her composure! Even Shuhai felt admiration for Krystal... as well as pride.

"CEO Manoban, you've always been objective and impartial. I'm sure you have noticed the problem here." Krystal spoke with a troubled expression. "With regards to the way our family has taken care of Jennie's food and accommodation... it's true that we owe her. You've already punished us for it. Since we've already received the retribution, it's unreasonable to continue pursuing it and making things difficult for our family. Jennie is intentionally trying to make things worse for us."

Suho originally wanted to speak up for Krystal. However, he felt that it was better to remain silent. It would be troublesome if his boss suspected that something was going on between the Kim family and him.

"That's right, CEO Manoban. Jennie, this child, she is still immature and narrow-minded. She holds onto small matters and refuses to let go." Shuhai attacked Jennie while flattering  Lisa. "You can't lose your perspective because of her."

Lisa's expression was absolutely arctic. His body emitted a dark aura, causing everyone around him to tremble subconsciously.

He was enraged. To think that everyone in the Kim family was targeting and abusing his girl like this.

And not a single one of them spoke up for her!

Krystal and the family assumed that Lisa was convinced by their words and was angry at Jennie.

So, she began reprimanding Jennie with all her might. "Third sister, our mother is usually busy, but I have taught you this before. When interacting with others, you have to be broad-minded. Whether or not your food and living were poor, those things are all in the past. You should let it go. The Kim family has lost the support of the Manoban family. Isn't the lesson from this loss sufficiently painful? Must you harp on every small thing? Will you only be happy when you finally push your second sister, your second uncle and your own birth mother to death!"

Shuhai's heart ached for Lilan, who was still being held in mid-air. He saw that Jennie had eventually ended up causing trouble for herself by bringing out the video, and the momentary victory caused him to become brave.

He approached Bambam and pried open his fingers to release Lilan.
