His expression was slightly shy. “I saved the money which I earned while I was at the Kim Group, including the reward money and bonuses that I received. It’s not a big sum and only adds up to around a million dollars. Don’t look down upon it. I kept the card in the box under the moonlight. The pin number is your birthday.”

“Brother, there’s no need for this.”

“If you don’t mind that the money is too little, take it.”

“I have money, I really don’t need...”

“Listen to your brother and take it! If you won’t take it, you’re not allowed to try and fight the case for me.” He desperately wished to leave this place to prove to the world that he was innocent. However, if he did not say this, she definitely would not accept the money.

He had already been jailed for three years. If they failed to overturn his case, it was likely that he would be trapped here for the next nine years.

Sehun's expression became uneasy. He knew that she held Kai dearly in her heart. “Jenjen, if this matter is related to Kai...”

“Then, I will give him a taste of what it’s like to be jailed and to live a life worse than death!”

Sehun smiled genuinely.

In her heart, Kai was extremely important. She had even tossed aside the powerful and influential Lisa for him. Yet, right now, she was willing to force Kai to be jailed.

She was unaware that Sehun's eyes remained fixed on her back view. His gaze revealed his deep feelings and he could not bear to look away from her.

A prison guard led Sehun back to his cell.

Behind the bars, there were three sets of bunk beds for six prisoners. The six of them were forced to share the small room and it was extremely stuffy.

“Yo, a tender and weak man like you gets visitors too?” One of his cellmates, Pan Dalong, sneered at him. “I heard a girl came to see you. Was it the woman you had before you came in? Is she hot? Have you taken her yet? Since she remembers you even after three years, she must have some feelings for you. If she’s beautiful, after I’m out of this place, you have to give me her contact number. I’m going to have a few rounds with her...”
