XII. | Blast From the Past

Lorelei was sitting on the couch as she read a book. She was rather pissed off at the moment. Specifically at Damon, which apparently had become a regular thing. She heard his footsteps enter the living room

"You know Damon, I spent a lot of money to make sure I was your date for that stupid bachelor thing" Lorelei stated. Damon rolled his eyes

"That's what your mad about? Really? We sleep together atleast five times a week. You already get the whole package" Damon said. Lorelei rolled her eyes

"I won and didn't get a prize" Lorelei stated, salty about it. Damon sped over to Lorelei and sat beside her. He ripped the book out of her hands and tossed it behind him

"If you want a prize so bad, all you have to do is ask" He stated with a smirk before putting his hands on Lorelei's waist. He began kissing her neck, which very much so turned her on and she was not complaining. She would rather take this over a date anyday. That man knew how to make some magic work. Of course before anything could actually happen, they were so rudely interrupted

"It seems I'm intruding" A feminine voice said. Lorelei and Damon both snapped their heads in the direction of the voice. They saw a woman with black hair along with Anna

"Pearl, have you ever heard of knocking?" Damon asked

"An invitation wasn't necessary. I'm surprised that no living person resides here. Is it just you, her and your brother?" Pearl asked

"Yeah, how do you keep out unwelcome vampires?" Anna asked

"Kill them" He replied before trying to choke Pearl. She grabbed his wrist and broke it. He grunted in pain. "Damn"

Damon fell to the ground as Pearl smiled at him

"Have a seat, Damon. Feel free to join Lorelei. I was hoping we could have a word" Pearl said

"I mean whatever" Lorelei said as she left to grab some alcohol. Today's victim was rum. She walked back in and sat down. "So what's on the agenda?"

"We've taken up residency at a farmhouse outside of town. It'll suffice for now" Pearl explained

"All 25 vampires?" Damon asked

"Not all, some. I imagine that a few have already left town. Others are probably still in the woods, or like us, acclimating" Pearl said. Damon was shocked by this. Lorelei really didn't care

"How'd they get out of the tomb?" Damon asked

"I think the witch screwed up that part of her hocus-pocus" Anna stated

"I understand that the founding families still have a secret council?" Pearl asked

"And you're part of it" Anna claimed

"That's ridiculous" Damon chuckled

"I've been in Mystic Falls since the comet. I'm up to speed" Anna stated

"And so am I. Now that you're infiltrated the council, I need to know everything.. starting with a list of the members and their families" Pearl explained

"Everyone you've supplied with vervain" Anna said

"Yes, that will have to stop immediately" Pearl said

"What exactly are you trying to achieve?" Damon asked

"Okay, fuck this. I don't really give a shit. Bye" Lorelei said before getting up and leaving
