SABO'S POV

As I look up to this woman, I see her shape-shift into.

mind! Sabo- I can't believe this. he can't be him.
Shanks- so Sabo. what are you doing here?
Sabo- I.. I'm sorry I can't tell you...
I.M.U- oh and why is that...?

Shanks- ...
I.M.U- aw so sad. I'll just have to kill you now then, because you heard our conversation.
Sabo- what...? 

as I try to survive the stab wounds that I got from this unknown woman, I see Shanks standing to the side. not wanting to interfere. I don't know why.

I finally got out, I saw Daji, Ace, and Luffy.

ACE'S POV

 I and Luffy ran towards Daji. we told him that Sabo was still in the castle and got stabbed.

Ace- *cough cough* SABO HE'S STILL IN THERE! *cough*
Luffy- HE GOT STABBED!
Daji- WHAT!? WHY DID YOU GUYS LEAVE HIM THERE!?
Ace- HE TOLD ME TO TAKE LUFFY AND ESCAPE!, IT WAS HIS IDEA!

DAIJ'S POV

I was panicking for an hour straight trying to figure out how to get Sabo back alive. I hear someone running. they're heavily wounded, for what I could smell the blood from this person. but when I turn my back I see Sabo. heavily wounded running towards Ace. 

Ace- SABO!. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU!?!
Luffy- SABO!!!. I WAS SO SCARED!
Daji- SABO!
Sabo- GUY'S. GET AWAY FROM THE ISLAND! NOW!. 

we were surprised that Sabo said that. why did he want us to leave the island?

LUFFY'S POV

I don't know why Sabo wanted us to leave, but I won't go without him!!

Luffy- NO! I WON'T GO WITHOUT YOU!

then Sabo collapsed onto the ground. Daji picked him two up and flew away.

LUFFY'S POV

as I hold the straw hat. I remember when Shanks gave this to me. and how I met him

SHANKS'S POV

shanks- hey kid. can I sit here?
Luffy- yeah sure!
Shanks- thanks kid, my name's Shanks. and your's?
Luffy- I'm Monkey. D. Luffy!

as me and this kid are talking, I started to like him! 

I stayed on the island for a year and Luffy and I became very close. On the last days, I was there

I was eating at Makino's bar with my crew and Luffy. then some bandits came in and wanted to rest the booze on the bar. but me and my crew drank all of it, there was 1 bottle left.
so I offered it to him. but he threw it on the ground. right in front of me. 

Shanks- hey Makino, can I get a mop?

Makino-no! it's okay Shanks!, I'll clean it up later!
Shanks- c'mon, I'll do it.

Makino- oh alright!

so I tried to clean up the mess, the bandit threw food on the ground.

bandit- if you like cleaning so much, then clean this as well.

mind!Shanks- this asshole.
Shanks- no, it's okay.
bandit- I have an 8.000,000 million Berri bounty! you better look out!

then he stabbed me. I couldn't do anything because he already left. 

as I get treated by Hongo my ship's doctor. I see Luffy running towards me

Luffy- Shanks!, why didn't you fight back?

Shanks- Luffy calms down. I couldn't do anything anyway.

later that day I found Luffy with those badints. I was pissed(angry). I've always had this. when my family or friends get hurt by someone I always get  angry

Shanks- let him go.
bandit- nah I won't.
Luffy- LET ME GO! YOU STUPI- AGH!

he stepped on Luffy's face.

as I get into my fighting stance I tell Luffy to shut his eyes

Shanks- Luffy close your eyes for me okay?
Luffy- okay!

he closed his eyes and I got my black flames out,

-LUFFY'S POV

Shanks told me to close my eyes I did but I peeked, so I could see what was going on. what I saw was traumatizing, Shanks was on top of the Bandit and was beating him with black flames

when he was done, I was crying.

Shanks- hey... buddy. it's okay he's gone now...

<-he said in a calm tone->

Luffy- Shanks!I hugged him tightly

when we were back at the bar we ate, but then I saw a weird fruit in a chest. I wasn't full yet so I took that and ate it.

SHANKS'S POV

as I was eating I saw Luffy eating the Devil fruit that I had stolen before I returned to this island.

Shanks- LUFFY!
Luffy- what?
Shanks-  DID YOU JUST EAT THAT FRUIT!?!
Luffy- ...yes...?
Shanks- THAT'S THE HITO HI- I MEAN GOMU GOMU NO MI FRUIT!, IT TAKES AWAY YOUR ABILITY TO SWIM FOREVER!
Luffy- WHAT!?

my plan has started.

1- gaining his trust
2- let him have the fruit
3- Meet him in 10+ years
4- betray him after that.
5- kill him.

-later that evening-

Shanks- hey Beck, we should leave in the morning.
Beck- huh? why?
Shanks- my plan.
Beck- ah okay, I'll tell the rest.

-next day-

Shanks- I guess we'll be leaving now. but Luffy keep this hat. take good care of it.

Luffy- S-Shanks..!
Shanks- don't worry budd, we'll meet again.
whisper! Shanks- in 10+ years.
Shanks- bye then. Luffy.

Beck- so how will you do it?
Shanks- it's simple. manipulation, you know I've done it before.
