"Wait, I don't know if I have everything," I groan as João zips my suitcase.

"It's 3:17, your flight takes off in a little over an hour," he sighs, "if you don't have everything, I'll take it to you, but we have to leave now."

"But," I start.

"No buts," he cuts me off, "you should've packed beforehand."

I sigh, "I know, but packing is hard, like just knowing that you and I are gonna be away from each other for so long isn't easy."

"This isn't ideal for me either," he sighs, but like you said, it's only for a few days."

"Right, right, let's just go," I huff.

He drags my suitcases downstairs as I follow behind. When we step into his living room, his mom and dad are ready to say goodbye. I hate goodbyes.

"It was so nice to have you over," João's dad says pulling me in for a hug. "Come visit again."

"I definitely will," I smile as I pull away, "thank you for having me."

"We'll see you soon, sweetheart," João's mom says hugging me, "you have my number, call if you need anything at all."

"Yes, of course," I smile at her.

"We better get going," João says.

We walk out and Hugo is already in the car waiting for us. "Sofia it's like you don't want to leave," Hugo laughs.

"I don't," I laugh.

Hugo drives us to the airport and once we're there, João and him help me with my bags. They rush me to my gate, forcing me to run because I'm running extremely late. With their help, I luckily made it on time with 7 minutes to spare.

Hugo and I say our goodbyes and he tells me he'll visit in England. Now it's time for the hard part.

I sigh as João pulls me close. "It's only a few days," he says kissing my head. "You've got everything ?" He asks.

"I think so," I laugh.

"Okay, bye," he tells me.

"Bye ?" I ask confused.

"What do you want me to say ?" He asks.

"Nothing," I glare at him, "kiss me."

He laughs cupping my face and pulling me close, giving me an earth shattering kiss.

"Mmm, I'm gonna miss that," I groan.

"I won't," Hugo says.

"A few days," João says kissing my forehead.

They call my flight one last time and I walk away from the pair trying to make it on in time. They scan my ticket and I walk onto the plane looking for my seat. I text my family group chat letting them know I'm on my seat ready to take off. I sent picture proof knowing my dad probably wouldn't believe me.

The flight attendants start their demonstration and once they're done, I put my AirPods in wanting to get some sleep on this flight making up for the sleep I've missed.

I'm currently sat in a waiting area, I just picked up my luggage and I have no idea where to go. I texted my family group chat letting them know I've arrived but no one has replied. I checked Cristiano's location and tried to get an Uber there but the app isn't working.

I huff frustrated slouching on the chair. I lock my phone and place it on my lap when there's a chime indicating a notification.

Cristiano 🤍
