Some clarification
-What age regression is-
As defined by Google, "Age regression (agere) occurs when you mentally retreat to an earlier age. In all ways, you believe you're back at that point in your life, and you may exhibit childish behaviors, too. Some people choose to revert to a younger age. In this case, it can be a coping mechanism to help them relax and eliminate stress".
-What pet regression is-
As also defined by Google, "Pet regression (petre) is a safe state of mind which is freeing and without responsibilities. it is like age regression in that way but the difference is instead of going into a child like mindset it's a more of a pet mindset dog,cat, etc".
-What is a Cg/caregiver-
As defined by Google once again, "Caregiver: someone who looks after a little while they're in little space." Caregivers aren't only for little space, they also can be called "owners" when looking after a pet regressor.
-What is age play-
Another Google definition, yay. "Ageplay is roleplay in which at least one party pretends to be an age younger than themselves. These people are not in the head space of children and this is completely different from age regression. Ageplay is a kink that has a power exchange and is part of the BDSM community." I will not include age play in this story or in any story. Age regression and age play aren't the same at all. Age regression is a verified coping mechanism that can be recommended by a therapist, and age play is not.
