We sat in the parking lot and ate lunch in the car. I kept smiling uncontrollably so I had to cover my mouth most of the time while I ate. Whatever. Cole was a messy eater too, so it's fine.

I went to throw the trash away and came back and started looking on my phone for the details of the Lego Ninjago Movie in theaters. 6:30pm, $14. Perfect. It was 5:40, so that would give us 40 minutes to get there if we wanted time to buy tickets. The only issue was not letting people see Zane. Unless...

There was a break in the conversation, and I asked, "Zane, um, can you change your, um, skin color? Heheh."

"No, why?"

"Well, we.... We don't have androids in this part of the country, so it wouldn't really be...accepted."

"Oh. Well then in that case I will do my best to stay hidden."

"Thanks," I let out a relieved sigh.

"We're ninja after all," Kai said, putting his arm across the back of Zane's seat. "Hidden is our middle name."

Cole chuckled.

"Movie starts at 6:30, what do we want to do until then?" I asked.

"What time is it? Kai asked.

"5:42," Zane immediately replied.

"5:40," I said at the same time.

"5:45," Jay said a beat later. I laughed, Jay giggled, and Kai smirked.

"So 45 minutes. How far away is it?" Cole asked, bringing us back on topic.

"About 10 minutes," I replied.

"What is there to do around here?" he asked.

I frowned. "Not much if people aren't going to see Zane."

"Unless we said he was in a costume?" Jay suggested.

"Still too weird. And I'm not taking any risks," I said. "Sorry."

Jay let out a childish huff.

"That's ok," Cole said, shooting Jay a warning glance. "We can still do something fun."

"We should play a game!" Jay nearly shouted excitedly, unphased by Cole's look of disapproval.

"Yeah, like truth or dare!" Kai grinned.

"No, not truth or dare, Kai," Cole said wearily.

"Well something fun," Kai huffed.

"Um, I know a game, but I don't know if it's a good idea," I said timidly.

"What is it?" Zane asked.

"Let's hear it."

"I'm all ears."

"Ok." I unsuccessfully tried to repress a grin for the hundredth time that day. "It's basically we ask questions about ourselves to see how well we know each other. Which might be weird since you don't really know me."

"And you don't really know us...?" Kai added.

"We'll see." I tried to say it as a challenge, and they took it.

"Sure."

"I'm in."

"Why not."

"Ok, who's going first?" Kai asked.

"Anna?" Zane suggested, and they all looked at me.

"I'd really rather not..." I probably flushed.

"Then I can," Zane graciously offered, and I nodded gratefully (and maybe enthusiastically).
