CHAPTER ELEVEN

Addies pov:

I wake up a few hours later to Leo playing with my hair.

"Morning, beautiful" he says.

I moan and whine, hiding my face in his chest.

"What's wrong?" He says chuckling.

"My head hurts" I whine into his chest.

"Want me to get you something?" He asks, still chuckling a little.

"Mhm" I mumble.

"Okay baby" he says getting up and going to the bathroom.

He comes back with Advil and a glass of water.

I take the medicine and he gets back in bed with me.

"Ready for your game tomorrow?" He asks.

"I guess" I say with an unenthused tone.

"You don't seem too excited about it" he says furrowing his brows.

"I'm excited, really, I just don't wanna play in 90 degree weather" I answered.

"I'm sorry, my love" he comforted.

I give a reassuring smile and pull the blanket over me.

"Do you know how beautiful you are, Adeline?" He asks, using my full name.

It catches me off guard to hear my full name.

"Why did you use my real name?" I ask.

"Because it's pretty, and you needed to believe me" he says, smirking.

"Thank you, but you're really pretty too." I say, rubbing his cheek with my thumb.

"Thank you, Addie..." He says, flustered.

"Can I tell you something?" He asks.

"Of course" I say.

Leo's pov:

"Addie, you are the most beautiful person in the world. It sounds cliche, but I'm being serious... You have the brightest personality and you're so pretty. I literally can't imagine a life without you. You hold me accountable, you praise me, you make sure I know my worth, and that's what I love so much about you. You are my whole goddamn world and I want you to have my children, share a house with me, and get married to me. I want you in my life until one of us dies, and I hope to God I die first because I don't know if I could spend a fucking second knowing you're not in my life. I love you so much... So much. I love you more than the stars love the night sky." He explains.

I watch her eyes regain the life they lost so long ago.

"Leo, you're gonna make me fucking sob..." She says.

"Baby, you can cry..." I say.

She doesn't hold back and starts sobbing.

"I love you so fucking much, Leo..." She sobs into my shoulder.

"I love you more, honey..." I say, holding her close.
