—— FIRST-PERSON POV
I groaned, waking up from losing consciousness. For some reason, I feel pressure on my torso and forearms... I look at myself and see a dark green fabric wrapped around my wounds, excluding my face.
I was currently on Hiros back, while Zenitsu was on Tanjiros. Seems we're still on our way to the Wisteria house. Hiro glances up at me, noticing my awakening.
"Ah, Y/N-san is awake." Hiro announces to everyone. I place my arms around his neck, still drowsy and wanting to go back to sleep.
I let out a yawn, forcing my body to wake up. I tense at the painful sensations on my body. Tanjiro is the first to speak— "Hey, you okay Y/N? I'm sure you're body hurts a lot right now." Tanjiro states, his voice full of worry.
"I'm okay, I'm strong." I grin, playfully flexing my arms, but wincing at the pain as I do so. Still being tired, my voice is more raspy and deeper. Tanjiro smiles at this, but I know he is still worried.
"HEY! KAMABOKO GONPACHIRO, HEAD BUTT ME, HEAD BUTT ME AGAIN! NOW!" A bulky man wearing a boar hat, yells at Tanjiro, pointing at him, steam coming out of the nostrils of his mask.
I deadpan as Tanjiro completely ignores him, not realizing Inosuke was talking about him. Tanjiro turns around, pointing at himself with a comical confused expression on his face. "M-Me?!"
"YES YOU, FIGHT ME!" inosuke yells out, annoyed. Tanjiro looks at him in complete disbelief, sputtering random words in confusion. "W-WHAT?! PFWUH-..?! HAH?! THATS NOT MY NAME!" Tanjiro yells out in bewilderment.
Zenitsu lies on Tanjiros back, clearly drained of energy. Due to his super hearing, he wakes up anyways, his body battered and littered in purple and blue bruises. I wince at his physical state.
"Can you guys shut up already?! You're too loud!" Zenitsu whines, covering his ears with a look of discomfort and annoyance on his face.
Without anyone noticing, I raise a brow i confusion. Why can I understand everything their saying? I sigh and decide to get off Hiros back, tapping him gently.
"Can you put me down?" I ask, Hiro gives me a look of unsureness. I smile, silently reassuring him i'm okay. Reluctantly, he sets me down on the floor and I stretch my body.
