[Chapter 9] Throwing (Up) The Game

[You're out wandering around the island taking in some fresh morning air, along with Scary Girl, as always, but you didn't really mind.]

(Y/N): "Think I've asked this before, but are you always gonna be tied to my side?"

[She giggles and looks at you.]

Scary Girl: "Well yeah! I've gotta make sure no one hurts my cute little boyfriend!~"

[She leans up against you as you sigh and smile.]

{Y/N): "I can handle myself Lauren, but thanks."

[You look ahead and see Priya, only she looks a little worse for wear. You walk up to her and see that she's exhausted.]

(Y/N): "Woah Priya, are you okay? You look like you haven't slept in days."

[She turns to you, noticeable bags under her eyes.]

Priya: "Don't worry... I got some sleep last night.."

[Scary Girl pops out from beside you and sees Priya's state.]

Scary Girl: "How much?"

[Priya looks away for a second then looks back.]

Priya: "...an hour.."

[You sigh and shake your head.]

(Y/N): "Priya, if you keep working yourself like this you're gonna possibly end up falling asleep during a pretty dangerous challenge! You need sleep."

Scary Girl: "Or dying~"

[You give Scary Girl a quick glare as she gets the message and backs up. You turn back to Priya and test a hand on her shoulder as she groggily looks up to you.]

(Y/N): "Look, let's go to the main lodge and get you some food, okay?"

[She silently nods as you let go.]

(Y/N): "Can you walk?"

Priya: "Surre I cann.."

[She goes to take one step forward and faceplants onto the ground, you sigh and look at Scary Girl who just looks down at her with a neutral expression.]

(Y/N): "Alright, Lauren, can you help me carry her?"

[She looks over to the side with a pout but then sighs and looks at you.]

Scary Girl: "Okay!~"

*Scene Change*

[You and Scary Girl enter the main lodge and set Priya at one of the benches.]

(Y/N): "I'll be right back."

[You walk over to see, Chris? Who is mixing up a pot full of multi-colored slop and donning a Chefs hat.]. He turns to you and rests his arm on the serving window.]

Chris: "Morning campers!"

[He takes out a bowl and places some of the rainbow mess into it. You look down at it and then back to Chris.]

(Y/N): "You do know that in the amount of time it took for you to add all of that food coloring, you could have made something actually... edible?

[Scary Girl pops out from beside you leaning over the window, looking at Chris, startling him from her sudden appearance.]
