Part 11

Scene starts in Rishi's cabin, Oberoi Radiant. The three pillars of the Oberoi business were sitting in the same room all together. Rishi and Virendra were chit chatting and laughing but Ayush was as usual sitting quite.

Rishi: Dad.....bohot wakt ho gaya na...hum sab picnic nahi gaye?
Virendra: Actually haan....bohot time ho gaya hain. Iss Sunday chalte hain...humare farm house par....kaisa rahega?
Rishi: Bohot mazaa aayega.....iss Sunday Lakshmi ka birthday bhi hain.
Virendra smiled hearing this.
Just then Virendra's eyes fell on Ayush, who was sitting without any words and scrolling his phone.
Virendra: Ayush.....tu kya kehta hain?
Ayush: Kis baare mein mama?
Virendra: Abhi hum kya baat kar rahe the?
Ayush: Sorry....maine suna nahi theek se.
Virendra: Tu kaha khoya hua hain beta?
Rishi: Kisi ki yaad aa rahi hain kya tujhe?

Virendra nodded.
Ayush left the room without any words.
Virendra: Rishi.....tujhe Ayush ko dekh kar aisa nahi lagta jaise ki yeh humse mentally bohot durr chala gaya hain?
Rishi: Haan dad.....lagta hain lekin mujhe samajh nahi aaya itne saalon mein ki hum humare uss purane Ayush ko waapis kaise laaye.
Virendra: I really wish...ki Bhagwaan kisi aise ko bhej de jo na sirf Ayush ko waapis se pehle waala Ayush bana de balki uski zindagi ki khushiyaan bhi use lauta de.
Rishi nodded.
Rishi: Hope so dad.
Just then Rishi's eyes fell on that day's newspaper.
Rishi: Dad....aapne yeh khabar padhi?
Virendra: Kaunsi beta?

Rishi started reading out loud.....

Virendra: Hoga kuch 24 se 26 saal ke beech mein. Par kaun hain.......God knows.

Evening,
They both returned and saw that the whole house was decorated in a new way and Sameer was making sure that everything was in order. Kartik was as usual in the kitchen, preparing delicious food for everyone.

Virendra went to his room and saw Neelam getting ready.
Neelam: Itna late kyun ho gaye aap? Sangeet hain aaj humari poti ka.
Virendra: Sorry....office mein kuch zyada hi kaam tha.

Virendra got ready and came down to the kitchen.

Virendra: Wahh! Yeh tumhara dost bann gaya hain? Yeh toh bohot acchi baat hain. Continue karo...main tum dono ko disturb nahi karunga bas Kartik se 2 min ka mujhe chota sa kaam hain. Kartik yaha aa zara....
Kartik: Jii sir....
Kartik came to Virendra who took him aside and Kanhaiyaa smiled seeing this.
Virendra(in a low voice): Tu ne meetha banaya hain?
Kartik: Haan sir....banaya hain na...gulab jamun hain, halwa hain, ice cream hain aur kulfi hain aur rasgulla bhi hain.
Virendra(with a smile): Yeh toh bohot acchi baat hain. Tu na yeh saari cheezon mein se bas thoda thoda karke mujhe de de....main kha loon.....uske baad jisko serve karna hain kar dena.
Kartik: Par sir.....aapko sugar hain na?
Virendra(with a smile): Haan toh koi nahi....main kuch dawaiyaan zyada kha loonga....(with a cute pout)....please na beta....de de.
Kartik: Theek hain sir....par aap promise karo ki aap agle ek hafte tak meetha nahi khaoge.
Virendra: Promise....cement promise....
Kartik smiled and gave everything Virendra asked for in a plate and he left with a smile and silently cheering for himself that he did it.
