Not gonna lie, I was quite happy when he gave me his jersey instead of any random t-shirt.
He's cute
All that i did was just wasting my time and then i was late for the match.
And the traffic which i got in made it worse, why me only of all these people tho...
I swear that navya would be present there to cheer her lungs out for her so called best friend.
She just irritates me a lot.
Anyways i was on my way to the stadium.
And finally I reached when the match was about to start in 2 minutes.
I quickly rushed in and sat in the vip box.
My eyes instantly went onto navya who sat there wearing shubman's named jersey.
I was damn furious, but the second thought clicked in....
He didn't gave her his jersey though, so basically I had 'HIS' jersey.
Only this could make me calm down.
Even my mom and dad were present there.
"Sara! Where were you and why so late?" Dad Asked worriedly.
"Sorry dad, caught up with some traffic.." I replied.
"Fine, look down there it's shubman opening!"
"Yeah!!"
He turned back and we locked our eyes that look of satisfaction on his face.
He smiled at me softly.
The sky blushed.
It was evening and a pleasant atmosphere to start with.
The cameras were on me when he would bat.
It was all going well
Well I guess not anymore.....
The crowd went silent real quick
