Chapter 26

After the battle with the forces of the Empire , Ezra hid the "Ghost" away from enemy radars. It was not easy to hide from the Imperials. Fennec , Jaina and Soren arrived later. Bridger since hiding contacted Sabine - he knew that his wife would be worried about him. After the conversation, he began planning an attack on the Imperial base. Meanwhile, Soren went to sleep , while Jaina and Fennec remained in one of the rooms.

Grey looked at the redhead - she knew something was bothering her. After the last action, she connected all the dots - Jaina is in love with Soren. She saw the concern , when she flew to help Soren. She saw the blush on her white face. She smiled and sat down next to her friend.

"Jaina. Can I ask you something?" She asked. The redhead looked at her.

"Sure Fen."

"Do you like Soren?" After these words , Jaina widened her eyes and looked at the floor. Fennec poked her with her elbow. "I know , you like him."

"Well , he is nice , humorous." Jaina began to say. She saw Fennec's smile spreading across her face. "I like him. He has an interesting approach to life."

"Get it out of your system." Fennec encouraged her. "How much do you like him?"

"I don't know. You know , you are my only friend in the clan. I never had any friends. When I was in a labor camp , at the age of 15, many of my fellow inmates wanted to kill me and ..."

"Come on Jai." Fennec pulled her closer. "Give the answer.

"What answer?"

"Do you like him or not?"

Jainie looked at Fennec. She was still looking at her. She couldn't wait for an answer. She let the air out.

"Yes I like him."

"You two fit together." Fennec admitted. "I'll tell you , it was like with Alex. He also asked me if I liked him. I told the truth and he was happy. Our friendship turned into something great. Maybe with Soren there will be something , in your case."

"I noticed , you don't think about Alex." Jaina changed the subject. Grey looked at her.

"Even before our fight in the hall , I told him that if he didn't wake up I would kick his ass." Fennec explained. "I miss him. But , I know that one day he will wake up."

"What if you die?" The redhead created a new scenario. "And Alex will wake up."

"I won't die. I can't be killed." Fennec denied.

"I heard that somewhere." Jaina stood up. " Ah yes. In the camp. The mass of new prisoners also talked like that , and yet they died while working or were killed."

"Stop with your past Jai." Fennec also stood up and approached her. "It's starting to bore and annoy me."

"I'm sorry. " Jaina replied. "That it annoys you Lieutenant. But , unfortunately. It's hard to leave the past behind." She then headed toward the exit.

"Where are you going?" Fennec asked.

"I don't know. Maybe I'll blow Soren , to forget the past. I haven't had a cock in my mouth for a long time." Jaina muttered.

"And really?" Grey crossed her arms.

"To get some air." After those words, Jaina opened the door and walked out, leaving Fennec alone in the room.

A few hours later.

Ezra , Soren , Jaina and Fennec were heading toward the Imperial base. They ran across the rooftops , so as not to draw attention to themselves. Before leaving, Ezra explained what they should do. Ezra and Fennec will take care of the reactor while Soren and Jaina divert attention and get possible plans, if any, They ran as fast as they could. So as to remain unnoticed.
