Chapter 95

The siege of Star Forge was harder than it seemed. Masses of Alliance ships were being destroyed by the Caedus fleet. Matteo Shepard was on the station. He was trying to destroy it. If the Star Forge had been , would have been destroyed, the balance of victory would have been on the side of Ezra Bridger.

Unfortunately, Caedus Ordo sent Darth Acheon. In addition, Q'ira commanded the Forge. Shepard was busy fighting the Sith. Matt was winning the duel. Acheon was still an inexperienced Sith. The commander could have easily defeated him if not for the soldiers , who obstructed him. Shepard was barely able to cope. The army was getting bigger and bigger. The Canadian knew what he had to do. There is one way , to destroy the Star Forge.

"Joker. Withdraw. Have all ships leave this place," Shepard contacted SSV Normandy Sr-2 pilot Jeff 'Joker' Moreau. Shepard had to withdraw his troops , to do so.

"Commander with all due respect , but this is foolishness ," Joker countered while dodging enemy fire.

"Joker. My game is over today. I cheated." Shepard admitted to cheating in the game. Matt once found a glitch that gives unlimited lives. He turned off the glitch before the fight. He wanted to end it. His life was over. Shepard decided to sacrifice himself for the greater good.

"Sir." Joker said wearily "It was an honor to serve at your side."

Shepard, using the Force, began to pull down one of the destroyed cruisers. Darth Acheon noticed it. He was horrified by the sight.

"What are you doing?" Acheon began to panic "You're going to kill us all!"

"I'm just about to do it," Shepard let go of the ship. The cruiser was approaching the Star Forge. Matt turned on the Whitley Houston while the ship was approaching the station. His life was over. His eternal struggle was over. The ship hit the station. It then exploded taking with it Shepard , Acheron , Q'ira and all the soldiers.

                                                                              GAME OVER

Meanwhile, Ezra managed to defeat all the soldiers in the tower. He managed to make contact with Ahsoka. The fleet is still in danger despite the destruction of Star Forge and the death of Matteo Shepard the fleet was in danger. Tano informed her friend , that Concordia had been attacked by Thrawn's star destroyer. This explained why he so suddenly experienced an unfamiliar feeling in his heart and accelerated , leaving others behind.

"Ezra!" Fennec Grey's voice came from his communicator. Ezra interrupted the connection with the former Jedi , to talk to his lieutenant.

"Fennec? What's going on?" Ezra replied. Earlier, he had been unable to respond to the transmission due to interference. After the tower was turned off, the transmission sounded normal.

"It was a fucking ambush!" Grey exclaimed , as she fired at the enemies "That bunker was a decoy! There was nothing there! The whole army moved on us!"

"I'll send support to your location" Ezra hung up with Fennec , to contact Ahsoka again "Ahsoka. He has sent support to the Fennec location. Have Fenn Rau bombard the enemy forces."

"Rau is busy," Tano admitted with difficulty. The Mandalore air force leader had a heap of work to do with enemy fighters. The Spike squadron was also busy. Only the bombers remained.

"I'll send a squadron of bombers. Tell Fen , to withdraw."

"Roger" Ezra disconnected from Tano and contacted Fennec again "Fen. Withdraw. The bomber squadron is flying to you."

"That's what I'm doing." Fennec fired at the enemies while simultaneously talking to her leader.

"Wait. Are you outside?" Bridger was surprised. He thought , Fen had taken over the bunker and was shooting at Caedus' army from there.

"Yes. I motivated everyone to attack the army. We're not doing badly."

"That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard" Jedi couldn't believe that his protégée had come up with such a stupid idea "Go back to that bunker and wait for reinforcements"

"Roger" Fennec hung up. Ezra hoped , that Fennec would not make another stupid plan.
