𝟬 𝟬 𝟯 : 𝗖 𝗢 𝗩 𝗘 𝗥 𝗘 𝗗 𝗧 𝗥 𝗨 𝗧 𝗛 𝗦

"So, you killed her?" Stiles asked. "You killed someone!?" Caitlin jumps in out of nowhere. "Wait did Alora tell you what happened last night in the woods?" Scott turned to her. "Figured most out myself but of course she did i'm her best friend." Scott nods exasperatedly, focusing back to the topic at hand. "I don't know. I just woke up. And I was sweating like crazy, and I couldn't breathe. I've never had a dream where I woke up like that before." Scott sighs. "Really? I have." Stiles shrugs as he gestures with his hand to emphasize his words. "Usually ends a little differently..." Stiles trails. "You disgust me." Caitlin gave Stiles a look.

"A) I mean I've never had a dream that felt that real, and B)-- Never give me that much detail about you in bed again." Scott sends Stiles a disgusted face. "Noted." Stiles nods. "Let me take a guess here-" Caitlin starts before Scott cuts her off. "No, I know- you think it has something to do with me going out with Allison tomorrow, like I'm gonna lose control and rip her throat out." Scott assumes, correctly. "No of course not!" Stiles shakes his head. "Yeah no that's totally it." Caitlin confesses.

"Hey, come on! It's gonna be fine, all right? Personally, I think you're handling this pretty freakin' amazingly. You know, it's not like there's a Lycanthropy for Beginners class you can take." Stiles shrugs. "Yeah... not a class, but maybe a teacher." Scott says, thoughtfully. "Who, Derek?" Stiles furrows his eyebrows. "You forgetting the part where we got him tossed in jail?" Stiles questions. "You tossed Derek in jail?!" Caitlin exclaims. The other two nod, Caitlin exhales deeply. "I'll sort it out for you." She sighs. "How?" Stiles asks. "Don't question my tactics Stilinski, just take it as a favour that you don't need to return unless urgent." She shrugs.

"You know Allison's probably fine-" Stiles attempts to say. "She's not answering my texts, Stiles." Scott cuts him short. Caitlin couldn't help but almost roll her eyes at Scott's remark. "It could just be a coincidence, all right?" Stiles reassured. "A seriously amazing coincidence..." Caitlin mutters. Stiles nudges her lightly. "You're not helping." He whispers. "Wasn't trying to." She whispers back.

Scott turns to look at Stiles with a panicked look on his face. "I don't want to either, let's just get this over with."

"Just help me find her, okay?" Scott looks to the two desperately. "Fine." The two sigh.

Scott continues to look, anxiously running his hand through his hair while he does, until he finally speeds up and turns around the corner, losing control. After a long moment, Scott yells as he punches the locker with so much force that it breaks the combination lock and warps the door to the point where it can no longer close properly. Caitlin and Stiles back up a bit as the two watch the frustrated McCall.

Scott backs himself down the hallway until he bumps directly into Allison, who is completely fine and who has now just dropped all of her books and school supplies onto the floor. "You scared the hell out of me!" Allison exclaims. Scott sighs in relief. "You're okay!" He exclaims.

Caitlin rolls her eyes as Scott continues going all soft talk to Allison. Stiles and Caitlin stand watching until the PA system hitches. "Attention students, this is your principal. I know you're all wondering about the incident that occurred last night to one of our buses. While the police work to determine what happened, classes will proceed as usual." The principal spoke before turning the PA system off.

Nighttime hit as the moonshine rayed its light into the atmosphere, making it appear as though it's brighter than it should be at this hour.
Alora and Scott make their way over to the Hale house ruins in attempt to talk with Derek about why he killed Mr Myers. "I don't think I asked earlier but why weren't you at school?" Scott turned to ask. "My mom came home from New York, she wanted to spend some quality time." Alora lied and Scott nodded, understanding. "Sorry for dragging you with me." Scott added. "Don't be." Alora smiled at him.

The two continue walking up to the Hale house remains until they see Derek's figure from afar.

"Why are you here?" Derek asks. "Why'd you kill Mr Myers?" Scott gets to the point immediately. "I didn't kill him." Derek admitted. "What?" The two teenagers exclaim in unison, both confused by his answer. "Neither of us killed him, it's not your fault or mine." Derek informed them.

"This?" Scott widened his eyes. "This is all your fault! You ruined my life!" Alora flinched slightly at Scott's sudden outburst. "No I didn't." Derek shook his head, almost laughing at Scott's remark. "You're the one that bit me!" Scott exclaimed, even more frustrated. "No. I'm. not." Derek replied truthfully. "What?" Scott whispered. "There's another. It's called an Alpha. It's the most dangerous of our kind. You and I? We're Betas. This thing is more powerful, more animal than either of us. My sister came here looking for him. Now I'm trying to find him. But, I don't think I can do it without you." Derek admitted.

"Why me?" Scott panicked. "Because he's the one that bit you. You're part of his pack." Derek informed. Scott looks up at Derek with a devastated expression. "It's you, Scott. You're the one he wants." Derek looked at Scott before turning to Alora. "You'll be needed too." He looked down at the blonde. "What?" She whispered as she looked up at Derek. "You know about the supernatural and it's either that or I kill you so you don't rat us out." Derek sighs. "Caitlin and your buzzcut boyfriend too." He added. "Who, Stiles? Stiles isn't my boyfriend." Alora awkwardly laughed. Derek quirked his eyebrow. "Sure looks like he is." Derek shrugged.

As Scott and Alora headed back to her car, she cleared her throat from the awkward silence. "I'll drop you off at Cait's, I gotta grab some things from home before I join." She announces as she plucks her car key in. "That's fine." Scott nods, still panicked yet confused from what he just heard.

Opening the front door, Caitlin, Scott, and Stiles finally arrived at the Thornton's. As they stepped inside, they were warmly greeted by Freya and Cameron, who both had smiles on their faces. "By the way Alora's coming too, she just needs to grab something." Caitlin announced. Freya couldn't resist a sarcastic comment. "No funny business up there." She pointed at Caitlin, jokingly.

In the midst of the conversation, Stiles asked. "How long are your parents staying in Colorado?"

"Until June." She answered as she looked through multiple Lycanthropy based sites. "Not complaining though, Alora and Cameron are moving in soon too, my parents discussed it with their mom since she's away and their dad's not really reliable." Caitlin explained. "Wait what?" Scott interjected. "Alora told me her mom came over today." Scott spoke as both Caitlin and Stiles looked at him. Confusion and surprise washed over their faces as they tried to piece together the situation. With her instincts kicking in, Caitlin blurs out. "Ohhh! Her mom came home for the weekend because work was slow." She lied. Stiles and Scott narrowed their eyes, observing her gritting her teeth as she falsely spoke. "That checks out." Scott finally shrugs.

Even though she had just lied to Scott and Stiles for Alora, she couldn't help but wonder as to what the reason behind such a lie was. She had a few explanations of course but she didn't wanna even begin to imagine them being true.

Oh Alora.
