The battered and dishevelled man struggled to catch his breath as he stumbled onto the shore of the lake. His body was bruised and scraped from the impact of his freefall into the water, and he could feel the painful memories of the fall still fresh in his mind. The cold water spewed from his throat as he coughed, trying to rid himself of the liquid that had filled his lungs.

Frustrated and in pain, he grumbled to himself, wondering why no one had warned him of the agony of falling into a lake. He couldn't believe his bad luck, as he stood there in his once pristine midnight purple kimono, now torn and soaked. He couldn't afford to dwell on his ruined clothing, though. The sound of barking dogs and shouting men in Russian made him tense up, knowing that they were getting closer.

Cursing under his breath, he knew he had to move quickly. He stumbled his way into the nearby forest, determined to put as much distance between himself and his pursuers. His mind raced as he thought of the consequences of getting caught, especially by someone like Vladimir Kovak, known for his sadistic games.

As he ran, he couldn't help but admire the strength and speed of his pursuers- imagining them as powerful beasts rather than ruthless kidnappers. But he quickly shook off those thoughts and focused on escaping. Just when he thought he had lost them, he collided into a warm, solid wall of muscle.

Startled, he looked up to see a flustered individual who seemed just as surprised as he was. The man had golden blonde hair, emerald eyes, and a cleft chin, making him undeniably handsome. The stranger also had cute elf ears, whether they were real or fake.

For a moment, the battered man couldn't help but admire the stranger's appearance, despite his dire situation. But then he quickly snapped out of it and focused on the present. The stranger raised an eyebrow and let out a huff, "Hello, human... Are you okay?"

The battered man nodded, suddenly feeling self-conscious under the stranger's gaze. He quickly averted his eyes, unable to deny the attraction he felt towards the flustered man. But before he could say anything, the sound of men shouting in Russian and dogs barking loudly interrupted them.

Panicked, the battered man tried to run past the stranger, but the stranger quickly reached out and wrapped his arm around his waist, pulling him close. They disappeared into the shadows of an ivy-covered cave entrance, hiding from their pursuers.

The battered man was shocked by the stranger's quick actions, but he couldn't deny the sense of warmth and safety he felt in his embrace. If the stranger wasn't wearing clothes, he would've snuggled up to him, basking in his warmth. But instead, he found himself staring into the stranger's mesmerising forest green eyes.

Embarrassed by his own gawking, the battered man blushed and tried to look away, but he couldn't tear his gaze away. The stranger was too beautiful and handsome, almost unreal. And in that moment, despite the danger surrounding them, the battered man couldn't help but feel grateful for the stranger's unexpected help.

The two males were silent for a few moments, during those said moments, the sound of the shouting men and the dogs soon faded away causing the shorter male- the bruised male- to relax, his body untensing and went a tad slump against the taller male. That caused the teller male to look down upon the bruised male. "Forgive me, little one but I fear that I haven't had the pleasure of gaining the knowledge of what your name is? I am High Prince Adresin."

The taller male stated before the smaller male could state his name, in case the shorter male would ask for his name first. That caused the shorter to pout, seeing that the undeniable beauty- High Prince Adresin-- had beat him to asking for the other's name first.
