“This way, Mr. Shanyuan. Try not to be too intimidated by the king. He may seem severe at times, but that is just his upbringing. He is actually a very kind and noble king and father. A little old-fashioned perhaps, but my mother keeps him in check well enough and of course offers guidance.” Adresin stated as he guided Shanyuan through the hallways to the castle’s indoor greenhouse where they will meet his father.

Shanyuan laughed at that, which Adresin huffed before continuing. “However, he may be a little stubborn with me. He won't be best pleased that I left the castle again, let alone brought back a human against the royal decree but he listens to my mother's counsel and respects her enormously. So often it is really the women who pulled the strings from the background. Perhaps that is the case in your realm as well.”

Adresin questioned with a small smile on his lips while Shanyuan grunted and somewhat nodded.

“Yes, in some places that is the case while in other places it is not the case. It just depends on where you are and what culture there is there.” Shanyuan replied while Adresin nodded. “Quite interesting that is then. How many cultures do humans have then?” Adresin couldn't help but ask. “As many as there are pillows in this castle to hit you with,” Shanyuan replied, still somewhat grumpy from upon learning how much harm Adresin could’ve endured if he had been seen by any other humans other than him.

“Oh… Oh dear.” Adresin whimpered, his ears curving down and a pout forming on his lips, making Shanyuan look at him with a sense of pity that he would give to a beaten puppy.

Armaros' ears twitched with slight joy as he looked up to gaze at Alea, his eyes gleaming with some joy. “Yes, my queen? Victor informed me that there was something you wish to discuss?” Armaros asked, causing Alea to nod as she stepped forward, leaving a few feet in between her and Armaros.

“Indeed my king. There has been an interesting turn of events.” Alea started as she smiled and stepped forward again to gently place a hand on Armaros’ bicep as a sense of calming him in case he got angry with what she was about to say.

“Well? Go on.” Armaros replied, looking at her with some confusion, his ears slightly curving down because of it.

Alea nodded as she sighed, her hand squeezing Armaros’ bicep as if telling him to keep calm— making him more confused— before her lips parted to speak. “Adresin paid another visit to the human realm.” Alea mentally prepared for an outburst from Armaros after she said that.

Armaros was silent for a moment before. “He what?!” Armaros exclaimed as he began to huff and puff. ‘There it is. That damn temper of his.’ Alea thought before he tried to speak, only for Armaros to continue talking.

“Oh, for goodness sake. That boy will be the death of us all. Can you not keep a closer eye on him? He is the heir to the throne. It is high time he outgrew this rebellious streak. His rebellious nature will indeed have to be kept in check.” Armaros huffed and puffed as he frowned. His ears twitched in displeasure as he crossed his arms, trying his best to control his temper.

Alea sighed as she shook her head before replying. “But that is not what I wanted to discuss.” She started causing Armaros to huff again. “Then what on earth is this all about?” Armaros couldn’t help but whine as he frowned, his ears curving down— making him seem like a beaten puppy, rather than a king.
