whilst tisha was speaking , i took her hand , dragging her to ms shani's class . the nerves began to build up , as we both took a step closer . truth is , i desperately wanted to skip .. sue me idc . the only reason I didnt , was for the safety of my academics .
dont blame me for wanting to become successful . " babes .. open the door . " tishainterjected , bored as we faced the classroom entrance . " oh . my bad " i replied , coughing at the end of my response .
sighing i placed my palm on the handle , ready to face dd . i stood there , re - thinking my decision . i should have listened to tisha . she probably - " urm take your time ? " she interrupted , with a hint of sarcasm .
" thank you " i whispered , noticing a glare being sent from la'tisha . " nig - girl . " tisha re - pronounced , pushing the door open . standing guilty , i watched tisha walk into the classroom . not caring that she had interfered the teacher and her learning .
the tension in the air lifted , as i followed my best friends steps slowly . scratching the back of my head .. i successfully ignoredhis presence while stepping towards the teacher . " ladies . why are we late ? " she sat at her desk .
" sorry ms .. girl problems . " tisha whispered loudly as possible , earning a nod from ms shani . " next time , be aware of your timing " she ordered the both of us , as we hummed in approval . acknowledging the lesson learned , we scrummaged to find our seats .
" front tables available . " tisha nodded towards the un - occupied area . considering the classroom was small , ethan david and a few girls sat right behind the two of us . " perfect " i mumbled under my breath , hearing a chuckle come from tisha .
" as i was saying , " the teacher rambled in front of the whiteboard , capturing my attention , redirecting our focus back to the lesson . " melinaaaa " a familiar voice whispered behind me . " mel - " ethan repeated , until he got cut off .
" shut up bro . " david kissed his teeth , smacking the back of his brothers head . the classroom erupted in a brief moment of suppressed laughter . " boys , be quiet . " ms shani scolded , causing ethan to roll his eyes .
" ay melina . " he whispered once more , in hopes i would hear . " yes ethann ? " i replied silently , leaning back in my chair . " you be looking good today " he complimented , seeing a smile spread across my face .
" thank youu .. " i blushed , noticing la'tishas eyebrows wiggle up and down . " what about mee " he inquired while laughing . " you look good too . " i replied , facing himself . in this moment , i realised how imperial his eyes looked .
