The scene panned out and everything returned to a closed scrapbook, Cloud Guy laid sideways on the floor as he caressed the cover softly. The cloud jumped up and stared at the viewers bittersweetly with his usual annoying charisma, "And that's how everything finished off. The end... Roll the credits!"
He pulled the screen down and the credits started to roll until a rewind sound effect was played and time went back a couple of seconds, "Sike! This was only the beginning." Cloud Guy threw the scrapbook away and grabbed another one from a floating cloud shelf, "You may think it is kinda anti-climatic... But nuh uh. Not every story has to be a direct sequel to the previous one and the plot can take drastic changes along the way. Bare with me."
Cloud Guy flipped the page open and zoomed into the narrative. A few months after their wedding, Poppy and Branch stood in the mushroom area as Peppy carried a leafy crown toward them. He announced fiercely, "I now pronounce you... King Consort of the Pop music trolls!" King Peppy placed the crown on Branch's head and smiled at him.
"Branch was crowned king." Cloud Guy narrated over the literal scene playing, "Shocker right? I still think he's too mentally unstable to do it. Anyways, they went on a late honeymoon."
Next, Poppy and Branch relaxed on a remote vacation getaway with garden flamingos as the servants of the resort. The Flamingo Waitress offered Branch a button salad, "You could lose a bit of weight. This could be great for your diet!"
"What?" Branch responded with a high-pitched and perplexed voice.
Poppy glared at the waitress, cracking her knuckles and tightening her ponytail ready to throw hands at the waitress.
"Ha! Sorry, that never happened. I really have to get used to this married troll respect oath. Here's what ACTUALLY happened."
The Flamingo Waitress walked down to Poppy and Branch's beach spot in the resort with a platter and a few drinks on top of it. She placed it on the table and smirked.
"We didn't order any of those." Poppy questioned her actions and warned the waitress.
The waitress leaned her neck down to Poppy and whispered in her ear, "These could come in handy for some fun time in the bedroom."
Poppy gasped and winked at the waitress. Later on, inside Broppy's suite, the couple and the waitress had an extremely entertaining pillow fight and partied all night long until dawn.
"So disappointing... My ex-wife and I did the exact opposite when WE got married."
Some months later at a troll tribes council meeting, Branch replaced Poppy as she was busy on a birthday party. Trollzart sorted his paperwork and readied himself to show everyone his latest composition, "And now I shall introduce you all to the Trolly Anthem... Composed by yours truly, Conductor Wolfgang Amadeus Trollzart."
The classical troll cleared his throat and was about to show them all his work, unfortunately, Branch messed up and dropped his coffee on the sheet music, "HAHA WHOOPS!"
"HOW DARE THEE, RAMIFICATION!" Trollzart growled with all his strength, "I MIGHT AS WELL BECOME A DRAGON!"
Trollex popped up with a harpoon and a bandana around his head, "I'm IN! POP TROLL TOAST!"
"Oh, jellysticks." Hickory pace-palmed, shaking his head at their behavior.
Barb sported a big grin on her face and sharpened her guitar cords, "BRANCH DON'T GET ME WRONG. I LOVE YA DUDE. BUT THIS HAS BEEN MY DREAM EVER SINCE THE MOMENT I SAW YOU."
Delta Dawn whistled and clapped her hooves together, "Why don't we all take it down a notch? Hm?"
"Agreed." Essence nodded down to the mayor and spoke with authority, "Branch is new to the role of King. No one here knew what they were doing when they first started. Take me as an example... I wasn't always this perfect. I used to play my tuba... SHARP!"
Everyone gasped, Branch covered his eyes in shock.
Quincy chuckled and placed his hand on Branch's shoulders, "Don't sweat about it kid, you'll do just fine. I'm sure you'll make one heck of a leader... Someday at least. Like my wife said, it will come naturally at some point."
"Thanks?" Branch chuckled nervously, "What about the anthem though?"
"Oh, you're screwed for that bro." Barb said while picking her teeth.
"That was pretty boring. But establishing characters' storylines is important."
Some other times, Poppy handled family business while Branch assisted with royal duties. She sat down with her parents, sister, and her husband's brothers. Floyd and John Dory decorated the corner of a pod as Viva rolled up the string across the ceiling.
"Whoo! This is looking pretty darling." JD stated as he wiped the sweat from his head.
Floyd clapped his hands together and spread glitter across the room, "Yeah, Branch will certainly struggle to leave his bunker behind but it's good for him."
"I know... I think he's finally ready for this." Poppy said as she finished painting the banner.
"And we're proud of you for acknowledging that, sweetheart." King Peppy looked down at his daughter and gave her a significant look.
John Dory looked back at his brothers and asked, "What about you two?"
"Clay is perfecting the table ornaments." Spruce responded with a frustrated look, "I'd rather not argue with him about it."
"WELL DUH!" Clay yelled as he measured the central flower arrangement and set it up perfectly, "It's like Branch would enjoy for his last bunker day!"
Viva walked toward her friend and patted his back, "Let's go for a walk shall we?"
The majority of the trolls strolled away, Poppy remained inside the pod with her mom. Poppy asked her mother, "Am I doing the right thing?"
"Of course." Primrose approved of her daughter's decision, "You're married now... It's about time he let go of his mancave and moved in with you."
"Oh well! And they did do that. But you'll have to wait and see."
