Y/N was at home watching TV with C/N on his lap sleeping
Y/N: Prom is only 1 day away. I wonder if Luci is going... probably not she's got better things to do...right?
Y/N thought out loud. Just then his phone began to ring. He picked it up and saw that it was from his mother
Y/N: Mother? I wonder what she's calling me for?
Y/N answered his phone and put it on speaker
Y/N: Hello mother
Persephone: Hello my baby boy! So, how have you been doing in the overworld?
Y/N: Pretty good, I've made some friends
Persephone: That's amazing! My baby made some friends! I'm so proud of you
Y/N: Mother, please...
Y/N said with a blush of embarrassment on his face
Persephone: Oh, by the way, I heard that Prom is coming up at your school! Are you going? Do you have anyone to take with you?
Y/N: Uh, well no I don't have anyone to go with and I'm probably not going at all
Y/N: Well, it just doesn't seem that interesting to me you know? I've got better things to do.
Persephone:...That's not it
Y/N: What?
Persephone: I said, "That's not it". You wanna ask someone, don't you?
Y/N: What? How would you know that?
Persephone: I'm your mother Y/N I know these things. I'm right, aren't I?
Y/N: I...*sigh* kinda...
Persephone: Well? Have you asked them?
Y/N: No. Plus I'm sure she doesn't even want to go
Persephone: How do you know she doesn't want to go if you haven't even asked her?
Y/N:...
Persephone: Look, you don't have to go if you don't want to, but I'm saying that you don't know for sure if you want to or don't want to go. It's up to you to find out though
Y/N: Yeah, I guess your right. Thanks, mother
Persephone: Anytime sweetheart! Sorry, your father can't be here right now, he's in a meeting.
Y/N: It's alright I know he's a busy man
Persephone: Alright sweetie I'll leave you to it! Have a good day now. Oh and one more thing
Y/N: Yes?
Persephone: STOP. SKIPPING. SCHOOL.
She said in a menacing tone causing Y/N to shiver.
Y/N: Y-Yes ma'am!
Persephone: Good boy! Bye-bye now!
She said before hanging up.
Y/N: Mother can be pretty scary when she wants to be...
Y/N said before putting his phone down. he then looked up at his ceiling and sighed
Y/N: Maybe... maybe she's right.
Y/N then sat up and gently picked up C/N and looked at him
Y/N: Tomorrow! Tomorrow I'll ask Lucinda!
C/N:...Meow
Y/N: Oh right you were sleeping. Sorry buddy.
Y/N then put C/N down
