The moment the door clicked shut, Stormie found herself swarmed by her eager friends.
"—When did you two come home?"
"—Can we cut the cake now."
"—Did he propose."
"—Are you dating?"
Taken aback, Stormie found herself pinned against the door.
"Alright, everyone, give her some room!" Clara's voice cut through the chatter, prompting the girls to retreat.
Stormie placed a hand over her heart, sighing in relief, "Thank you."
"But seriously," Clara's gaze focused intently on Stormie, "Did you two, you know...consummate?"
"Huh?" Lily's face scrunched up in confusion, her eyebrows knitting together, "What have I told you about watching those British regency shows."
Clara raised her hands in mock surrender.
"Nothing happened." Stormie concluded with raised hands.
