"Dimelo"

"Dom" his sister said softly

"Daya, I told you not to call me on here-" he was cut off short

"Dom it's Letty" she bit her lip as she felt her eyes watering again "She's been murdered"

There was a moment of silence on the phone. No one was going to hide the fact that she had meant the word to both of them. Of course Dom more than anyone, that was his person. This was by far the day that apart of Dominic died and he believed would never recover

He could hear the sniffing on the line, which triggered his tears even more

"I'm so sorry Dom, I- I- I'm sorry" she stuttered. Dayanara was in pieces, she had just lost her best friend. The girl who always leaned on her shoulder and did crazy stuff with. She grew up with her, that was practically her sister

Dominic still said nothing he couldn't help believe some part of it was his fault, was it his fault? as tears left his eyes Dom punched the brick wall next to the phone yelling

Hearing his pain made his sister cry more

"Who did it?"

"We have gathered here today to pay our final respects to Leticia Ortiz" it was the day of the funeral, the day Dayanara had been dreading but Letty deserved it

She cried harder

In the distance on the hill stood Dominic. His heart filled with pain and vengeance as he watched the funeral, hearing the priests words faintly

Also in the distance was Brian

Words couldn't express how much guilt he was holding within himself, watching Dayanara breakdown with tears. It had been years since the last he spoke to her, he could recall every detail about her too from the last time. He cared so much for her. Always had and always will

Later that night Daya had been putting stuff into boxes and moving them into the garage, she heard something behind her and grabbed the wrench off the desk in front of her holding it up as defense

She waited until it was Dom coming out of the shadows

Daya dropped the wrench and ran into his arms

"I told you not to come" she said still hugging him not feeling the need to let go "They're stalking the place out" finally loosening up and looking at him "If they find you-"

"They wont" he shook his head placing his hands on her shoulder "Look at you" he smiled

With everything that had happened it almost flew over his head that he haven't seen his little sister in years as well. He had missed her and she had missed hin
