Ever since the discovery, he became a camp counselor/recruiter to the camps, a sort of bridge that connected them.
After everything that had happened between his father and his uncles children during the Great War, Triton took it upon himself to heal the broken barriers.
When the Prince of Atlantis is contacted by his father telling him to go to Camp Half-Blood, Triton must now be his brothers protecter as the two embark on a journey that will change the way they both see the world.

AUTHOR SPEAKING So, I know that Triton appears in the next book during Sea Of Monsters and we spend more time with him during the Last Olympian.
But because I know that version is a dick carrying on the stereotype that every god is one, I wanted to change it to have Triton be a caring god and individual while also keeping his "charisma".
A sort of theme showing that Poseidon might be a shitty father but his sons are great.
