"ARE YOU GOING TO SOYEON'S HALLOWEEN PARTY ON FRIDAY?" MOON JIA ASKED OVER THE PHONE AS MISO LEANED AGAINST THE CORRIDOR WALL, TWIRLING THE WIRE AROUND HER FINGER.

"I don't think so..." Miso hesitantly began, unsure whether she wanted to attend the girls party.

"Please, Miso," She heard Jia sigh on the other side of the phone. "I'll be there, and if you want to go home, I'll take you."

Not long ago, Jia and Miso's brother, Beomgyu broke up. Miso wasn't too sure why they did, but if she to be completely honest, it was needed. Beomgyu was toxic and selfish, and Miso didn't want Jia dealing with that. And so, ever since then, the two girls hadn't seen one another which saddened the two. Soyeon's Halloween party would be a chance for them to reunite and catch up.

"Fine, I'll go — but only so I can see you." Miso eventually gave in, earning a gasp of excitement from Jia.

Han Soyeon was was from East side. A place where your money status didn't define you. A place where everyone was equal. It was dubbed as 'the go-to place for happiness.' Soyeon was not only popular over there, but also on the North and South side. She knew everyone and everything. She was well known for her notorious parties and sleeping with every being.

Once off the phone, Miso rolled her eyes at the sound of her brother slamming things around in the house and letting out angered huffs.

"Have you seen my spray paint, brat?" Beomgyu rudely asked Miso once walking past her. The girl shook her head and folded her arms across her chest before she began to walk away. She did not want to deal with him and his problems.

It was the next day and the Choi girl was sat in the diner on her own, sipping her Strawberry Milkshake. Originally, she was supposed to be joined by her best friend, Huening Kai, but he cancelled last minute, stating that he was needed in his schools Football game.

It saddened her really. She knew that Kai going to a different school would put a divide between them, but she didn't think it'd be as big as not seeing each other for almost a month.

Suddenly, the bell above the entrance to the restaurant was heard, breaking Miso away from her thoughts and capturing her attention and she turned her head to see who'd entered.

It was the girl from the race track the other night, Ria.

She had a smile on her face as her eyes scanned the diner — almost as if she was looking for someone — which she was, because once her eyes landed on Miso, she hurried over to her and sat in the opposite seat.

Miso couldn't help but furrow her brows as she looked around, confused as to why the girl had sat with her. She seemed very different then from before when she was sending Miso intimidating looks.

"There's a race happening later tonight." She informed Miso as she wiggled her eyebrows, holding a grin on her lips. "You should go — you can cheer on your Starboy." Ria chuckled out, causing Miso's eyes to widen and for her cheeks to blush pink at the name she used for Niki.

"I don't know, won't I just be a bother?" Miso wondered, awkwardly fiddling with the straw in her drink. If she went, she'd be the only Soc within an area full of Greasers; she couldn't help but worry what would be said to her and about her. She wasn't so sure if she could deal with that just yet. She also didn't want to make the Greasers uncomfortable with her presence.

"You're Niki's girl," Ria deadpanned. "You ain't gonna to be a bother." She shook her head, making Miso bite down on her bottom lip as she contemplated.

She wanted to go, she really did — but the tug that she felt in her chest made her rethink her decision.

"Come on," Ria pouted her plump lip. "Niki will appreciate it."

Sighing, Miso eventually nodded her head in agreement, and before either of them new it, they were heading towards Ria's home after the girl had stated she was in desperate need for a makeover.

"Be quiet." Ria instructed, placing her red painted nail to her lips as the two girls made their was through the small home.

Looking around, Miso noticed the scrunched up cans of alcohol on the floor, the empty packets of cigarettes and a man fast asleep in a pull out chair with the tv playing a random show.

Once inside Ria's bedroom, Miso stood awkwardly, unsure what to do with herself. The walls were plastered in posters of her favorite bands, and the floor was decorated with empty bottles of coca-cola, and the bed looked untouched.

Miso watched as Ria began pulling out items of clothing from her wardrobe. Majority of it was dark clothing, such as denim skirts and jackets, and on the odd occasion there was a red tank top.

"Here." Ria grinned wildly, turning around on her heel. In her clutch was a pair of black, short shorts that were designed to stop at the start of her thigh. There was also an off the shoulder, black crop top and a oversized, cherry red bomber jacket that Ria had knitted motorcycle logos onto, and to top it off was a pair of worn out converse.

Finally, after changing, Miso couldn't help but feel uncomfortable in the revealing clothes. She'd never worn something like that before, so when she was able to see all of the skin on her legs, it made her heartbeat race and her eyes widen.

If her parents saw her right now, she'd be dead.

"Let me add this." Ria stated, pulling Miso to sit on a chair in her bedroom. The Choi girl blinked in shock as Ria applied a bold, red lipstick to her lips and then added some black eyeliner to her eyes.

"You look smoking." Ria smirked, as Miso looked at herself in the girls mirror. She was shocked to see her own reflection. Never in her life had she looked so... good. She felt attractive when looking at herself for the first time in forever.

"Come on, Mi," Ria pulled her by the arm and began to lead her out of her home quietly. "We'll miss the fun otherwise."
