this album is a product of introspection during a period of intentional seclusion. choosing to step away from the public eye, i embraced the solitude of the studio, where i poured my heart into every lyric, melody, and emotion. the initial title, 'to nells, from nells,' was a nod to the intimate connection between the songs and the journal entries that spanned two years of my life.
yet, as the process unfolded, a succinct revelation occurred – encapsulating the entire essence of the album in just three words, 'love, patience & pain.' these words became a powerful reflection of the emotional tapestry woven into every track, portraying the highs and lows, the joy and sorrow, and the resilience within.
this wednesday, i unveil my most personal collection of songs, inviting you to join me in this shared experience. i admit, there's a mix of trepidation and excitement as i release these pieces of my soul into the world, each track is a chapter, a fragment of my story. and i hope they resonate with you.
