Sonic's POV

I looked out the window of the chaos council base, everyone was safely inside, the pirates, the folks of New yoke city, the scavengers, the chaos council, though I wish i could throw them into the void but I made a deal with them. Theirs only one person who isn't apart of this safety....Shadow, im so worried about him, I hope he's okay...he's been with me through all of this, and I think it's no secret, at least to me that he means the world to me, I'd give anything to have him back.

I was knocked out of my thoughts with a tap on my shoulder, I looked and saw Rebel standing beside me

"What's on your mind Sonic? You've been starring out this window for 10 minutes now" Rebel asked

"I'm just thinking of a certain someone, he means the world to me" I answered

"Oh, Romance is not my department, Hey Black Rose, this talk is your department" Rebel yelled across the room

Black rose looked confused, and everyone was staring at us

"How that conversation be me department?" Black Rose asked

"Sonics in love, and I don't know that well about it" Rebel answered

Now everyone was really staring, and I saw Renegade chuckle

"Pfft, Liar" Renegade muttered, Rebel rolled her eyes and walked over to him

Black rose walked over to where I was standing

"What's on your mind?" Black rose asked me

"Ya see, there's this boy, he's the most amazing boy you could ever meet, but he isn't safe, he's in the grim with nine, and I don't know if he's even alive, he threw me out of the grim before nine captured me" I explained

"Who be this boy?" Rose asked

"Well he isn't here, that's for sure, but his name is shadow" I answered

Black rose smiled and rubbed the top of my head

"I'm sure we will find him and you 2 shall be reunited, isn't that right dread?" Black rose looked at The dread, he was sitting near the entrance of the door and he nodded slightly

I smiled and laughed a bit

"Thanks, I really hope he's okay" I said

~Timeskip~

"Shadow! Your alive! Can you help me up?" I asked, and shadow did

I hugged him tightly, im so relieved that he's okay, he was slightly surprised by the hug but I did feel him hug me back

After the hug broke, I just simply smiled at him

"Mind helping me and the others up there?" I asked

"Sure, why not" Shadow said and we both ran up the wall out of the hole

"Everyone meet shadow, shadow meet, well everyone" I introduced shadow to everyone

I saw the dread smirk

"So this be the boy you were talking about" dread said

I blushed a lot

"Wait, what are they talking about?" Shadow asked

I blushed even more

"Nothing, they're talking about nothing," I answered
