Hello, everyone! I'd like to formally welcome you to Unfiltered: The Nico Talk Show! Where I talk about anything and everything, from my life experiences to your requested questions!

*Seen sitting at a desk with various items on it and turning slightly in a rolling chair*

Welcome! I'm your host, Nico, Neeks for short, and today, we will be talking about... *looks at a paper before throwing it behind me* You know, I was supposed to talk about babysitting, butttttttt this is much more interesting. 😁

I swear to God, my friends are the reason I'm so self conscious about talking to new people. I swear, I'm friends with the prettiest and most approachable and most popular people, it's not even funny. 😒

OH, OH, WAIT. ✨STORYTIME✨

 Take today for example: Today at lunch, I was with my friend, Cash, and we were in the line to get food, as middle schoolers do. During this time, Cash's friend gives me a One Piece card of Nami for free. 😌✨

Then, the line starts moving, and I swear to God, this kid who we've never talked to, never looked at, we've never even breathed in his direction before because we've never even seen him, looks back at use for no reason. We're literally just talking to each other. 😐

Turns out, he's a new kid. How did we find that out? He literally turned around to my friend, WHO HE'S NEVER MET, and went "Sup, I'm a new kid, what's your name?" and stuck out his hand. But then CASH, BEING THE LITTLE BEAN SWEET DARLING ANGEL HE IS, GOES "Oh, sup dude, I'm Cash" and daps him up he goes "I'm Trenton, nice to meet you" and then they start talking while my brain's just going 'WHAT THE ACTUAL F***' 😦

And after Trenton checks out his food and leaves, Cash turns around to look at me and he starts laughing because my mouth is literally on. The. Ground. 😧

'Cause one, he stopped talking to me in the middle of our conversation, that's very rude. 😒

 And two, how does he just start talking to someone that he doesn't even know?! And they're just talking like they're close friends. HOW?! 😦

But then I realize. I mean, first, that's just how boys are. 🙄

But. The question is not how do you start talking to people you don't know. The question is, HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW TO START TALKING TO YOU? 😧

Then when we get to our lunch table, I bring it up to our other friends and they're like, "Oh, what do you mean? That's easy!" And I'm like, "Gurl, what?" 😃😄😃

MAYBE FOR YOU GUYS. LIKE, CASH IS A LITERAL BEAN, HE'S SHORT AND APPROACHABLE! ANGEL IS LIKE, SO PRETTY, SHE'S LITERALLY GOT NINE GUYS FLIRTING WITH HER CURRENTLY AND HAVING A "BOYFRIEND" WHILE ACTING LIKE A LESBIAN AND SAYING SHE'S NOT GONNA DATE TILL 10TH GRADE. THAT FRIEND'S SMART, THAT ONE'S TALENTED, THAT ONE'S ATHLETIC. AND WHAT AM I?

I'M FUNNY. THAT'S LITERALLY IT. AND HALF THE TIME I'M TOO SCARED TO ACTUALLY SAY MY JOKES, SO YEAH, FABULOUS-

But. What's even more unfair is for me to be mad at my friends for being themselves, because they are amazing and I love them. 😊

Anyways, it makes no sense how they do it so easily! You have no idea how many possible friendships that I missed out on because I was too scared to talk to new people. 😒

But yeah, that's it for today's episode. *sigh*
