There it is, a town full of life.

People around town gathered in a plaza, up a podium a man with blonde hair and a tall physique stood.

"People of Battir we need your help funding the people in need."

He points to a nearby burnt house with rubble all over it.

"To make sure that this doesn't happen again, we need to make a well near the middle of the town so we can easily access the water in case of a fire spreading."

As I walk by I see an empty tavern

Brittir Curse is spreading--

The sign said.

Madness will be spread if cursed--

The Orienstein church regarded this place as unsafe and was willing to help the townspeople with evacuation.

"This place. Is important to the people that are left here."

I hear a voice from behind i turn around and see the mayor with a sorrowful face

"The Battir curse was caused by a mad wizard who wandered by."

"We sheltered him but after a day or two he was gone--"

"The only message he left was"

"I am sorry, for my daughters I have sinned"

"The first sign of the curse was the message the second was the madness around the people here-- So the Ornsteins were quick to evacuate the people. This place of Battir is where the graves of the people who were killed in the war were taken and buried-- The only ones left here are people who have their families buried here."

He puts his hands on my shoulder.

"A grave town is what we call this place, You are welcome here traveler."

"Since you are the first traveler we have had for a while."

I go inside the tavern the inside is a rustic and run-down place as it is on the outside, you'd never know if this place was abandoned or not

"Oh, you new 'round here?"

The barkeep placed the plate down and smiled at me.

I ask the barkeep what is the currency of this place

"So you are new, well let me tell you that the only currency we choose to use in this place is bronze to gold coins. But the place called Ornstein uses paper as its currency."

"Where do I get coins from?"

"How could you get coins? Well, I suggest looking at the poster on the walls."

I walk up to the posters and see a drawing of a so-called songbird.

"Those birds are fairly annoying when come together. So I s'gest hunting them quietly or else you start a qoir, if you do start one better book it before more monsters get annoyed."

He looked at me from my head to my waist and sighed

"From the looks of it, you have no weapons."

"So I'll give you a trade, two songbird meat an' heads, and the bronze coins that that commission gives and I'll give you a bow'en arrow."

I nodded and he gave me a bow and arrow

"Good luck and you better give that bow a try first-- Cause you don't look like an adventurer."

I walked outside ran to a nearby hillside and tested the bow. I only have had hands on a bow once in my past life. When I was writing a journal for the World Sports Championship.

A girl with a bow and arrow showed me the ropes but I miserably failed. But now I feel like it is different-- The moment I held the arrow to the bowstring I felt it

the power of adaptation and evolution.

The bowstring feels light even with it being held up.

-SHHHK-

I let go of the arrow

-PHEWWW-

-BOOM-

My hair flew back as the sound was delayed.

A sonic boom huh?

This power is pretty amazing.
