"Life is like looking for your phone. Most of the time, it's in your hand." -Anonymous

Life is like a cellular phone:
To afford it you'll need a teller and a loan,
But the steep cost of this metaphor's purchase
Is so deep it's lost on those who settle for surface,
That pretend in the faux pressure of haptic feedback
Can a friend or foe be measured in static speech acts.
You enact a plan without fear if it fits the bill
Contracted for the span of a year or committed 'til
You find your voice and send a real message, yet
Behind the choice you contend with the ideal you'd envisaged.
If you miss, take aim again, resort to an improved carrier,
Give her a kiss and make your claim then, transport the new man through removed barriers!
On occasion you'll be caught by distractions apt to addict;
No equation or tool can be taught to extract one's trapped in this conflict.
Long term evolution is the name of the mastery game;
Strong, firm resolution is the fame of batteries drained.
Breach big data but apprehend it very little;
With each dig, greater do we attend the airy riddle:
A homophone for the captivity of a cell and the freedom of foehn,
Our home is sown from the absurdity of hell and heaven interchained
Behind bars that rise from earth you stand on your feet, and
Mind the stars, that prized sum worthy two hands incomplete,
So hold onto this precious, smart allegory,
Foretold dawn will bless this heart revelatory.
