As pocket, fence, dress, helmet or any such shelter
But in the commitment of its clamber across this rolling rock or over that garden trimming
Soft suction so like the wet nose you get when gliding
Down some simple street toward a hidden horizon
The proof of power lay in the contrail of its crawling traversal,
From some forgotten beginning to the end of its tail
