"No
life isn't that bad
just today
today sucks
today's the f*king worst
but probably not tomorrow
or even the next day
yeah,
the next day might be f*king sweet."
- Atticus

Today is conjured by the first morning ray
Incubated flash of fools procreated
Wisp hairs twist around the apple crisp
Noose locks and knocks me loose
Heat heightens the will, ripens the wheat
Crust cracks to seeds, sands, then dust
Fractures frame a future long and uncaptured
Cut fingers bid the bedcovers shut, but
Trace the fissure that rivers through the face
Watershed tear, veer from where they thought her dead
Coffin and crib, hold the rib as you cough and grin
Teeth grit and bit youth for the juice of roots beneath
Slough scales mark the rough tale along your bluff
Molting snakes slither and shake and bark revolting
Breathing branches breach the nuit blanche wreathing
The vast ganderism spun like flax throughout contrast
Ties yester marrow to the two morrows in sweet reprise
Stitch the desiccated, the desecrated niche
Patch with gold grafts and comb the thatch
With a stroke of luck you will bolster the pith
Wake on either side of night or day and stake
Your living on the endless gamble once more
Arise amid skies with hard cleft and soft serpent eyes
