6 - your love

A few hours later....
( it was early in the morning earlier so it is the afternoon right now )

We walked and walked down the streets of the town. It was very comforting and I felt....so happy.

Luffy's arm was around my shoulder.
And I had a big smile on my face.

"Ooh, let's go there, Nami!"
Luffy suddenly exclaimed, pointing at a food stand selling fried squid.

"We just ate, though?"
I sweat dropped but it was too late because Luffy was nowhere to be seen.
He was in fact, at the food stand.

I deadpanned, shaking my head but walking over there anyway.

Getting there, I saw..very familiar blonde hair.
Oh great.....she was here.

Lissy.

Luffy was jumping up and down excitingly looking at the displayed fried squid.

"Come on! Come on, Nami, let's get some!"
He happily announced.

I shook my head again, smiling.

"I am not really hungry, but I'll buy some for you, okay?"

At that moment, Lissy turned around, her face immediately lighting up once he saw Luffy, completely ignoring my existence.

Sticks with fried squid on them, Lissy greeted Luffy.

"Hi, Luffy, nice seeing you again!"

Luffy turned around, and his face was just a blank expression, as he tilted his head.

I smirked again, knowing why he was doing that, grabbing the squid out of the stand owner's hand with a thank you.

"Do I know you..?"
He confusingly asked.

"It-It's Lissy! You're waiter from earlier!"
She stuttered, definitely feeling hurt again.

I snickered and called out to Luffy.
"Hey, Luffy, I got you the squid!"

But he annoyingly didn't, either hear me or just didn't listen.

"Oh hey, Lissy, nice seeing you-!"
He stopped talking, looking down at the squid in Lissy's hands, drool from his mouth.

Lissy's thoughts: ha! He's a foodie, I can win his heart with food!

"Oh? Do you want my squid? Here! If you want to, do you want to hang out with me-?"
I cut her off, pulling Luffy next to me again.

"I'm sorry for your confusion, but me and my boyfriend really have to get going now, don't want to food to get cold now, right? Come on, Luffy."
I said, fake smiling and pulling Luffy away from the annoying scene.

To my amusement, he stretched his hand to Lissy's fried squid and took it for his self.

"Thanks for the squid though!"
He exclaimed, immediately eating it.

But then suddenly, when we started to walk side by side again, he got quiet.

I turned to him, worryingly.

"Luffy?"

"Luffy?"

"Luffy!!"
He finally looked my way, getting out of his thoughts.
Scratching the back of his head, he snickered.
His face was weirdly a little red.
