4 Months Later - March X791 (Wendy and Y/n are both around 19)
Seven years, it had been seven years since the catastrophic incident where Achnologia made its message clear to humanity by destroying the holy land of Fairy Tail, Tenrou Island.
Many search teams tried and failed to find an explanation, even if this dragon was so powerful, for many it was strange, like vanishing out of thin air, like it had disappeared from time.
Time passed, many moved on, but for those in Fairy Tail, it was a permanent scar across their hearts, and scars will never completely fade
The sun rose bringing light and warmth for all of those across Fiore, the birds chirped in happiness to see its longtime friend of the sun rise again, with the animals continuing their daily routines.
In the forest was a cabin, with a small pond. The light began peeking through the glass like an uninvited guest waking a blue haired girl in the process. Her eyes twitched and opened, yawning, stretching her arms.
She reached over to the other side of the bed giving the person a kiss on the cheek
"Good morning Y/n" she smiled seeing the messy hair of the girl across from her
"Morning Wendy, did you sleep well?" Y/n asked while trying to shake the sleepiness out of her
"Of course, when I'm with you, I always
sleep well" She smiled warmly and was met with a smile in return
The two of them got up and helped each other get ready, brushing each other's hair.
They went into the kitchen, working together to make a meal, they both ate in silence.
"Wendy, I'm kinda running out of money, can I pleaseee stop resting and earn some on a job"
"You know you can't Y/n, I know you want to, but you still aren't fully healed. It's been a couple months and I know you still are in pain whenever you try to use magic. It'll be okay you can use the money I saved up until you're 100%"
"I know I know... recently more than ever I feel like my magic is being drained at every moment...but I feel bad using your money. I feel like a leech" Y/n laid her head on the table in a depressed state. But, she quickly felt the warmth of Wendy's hand intertwined with her own
"Don't say it like that Y/n, I don't feel like that at all Y/n. I'm glad you care so much, it makes you who you really are. It's not just my money Y/n...it's ours, the money we earned together. You're the one and only Y/n that I care about, you're...who I love...nothing will ever change that" A small blush reached both of their cheeks
"Thanks Wendy," she smiled before receiving a tight hug, Wendy's arms wrapped around Y/n's neck. Wendy could smell the sweet scent from Y/n's hair, making her face heat up, mostly because she was attracted to it, with her dragonslayer nose making everything extra strong.
"You okay Wendy? Your face is kinda red. Did I get you sick or something" Y/n said while Wendy quickly flailed her arms in denial
"It's nothing! Let's start getting ready for the day!" She quickly stood up and walked away, leaving a slightly puzzled Y/n
Later
Morning went by quickly, the sun had run a sprint and was already almost halfway in the sky. Y/n and Wendy prepared for the day, mostly a slow day, most of them weren't doing jobs anyway.
Magnolia was still a merchant city and despite the absence of Fairy Tail still brought in many people. Some of those people were there to see the new representative of the town; Twilight Ogre.
