Harper sighed as the rescue teams came
"Harps you okay?" Zoey asked looking at the worried girl
"Just worried zozo.." Harper said as Zoey nodded
"We can't find him miss.."
"Please keep trying I'm begging you!" Harper insisted
The cop went back to the lake then came over
"we found these skates. Are they his?" The police asked
"Yes! They have his initials." Harper said with hope in her eyes
A professional came and went into the ice cold water looking for griffin
"boss! We found a boy in the water he has icicles all over him and he isn't awake" a police officer said
"Where?!" The (boss) police officer asked he followed the cop to a boy on a stretcher it was Griffin! He was covered in icicles his skin was basically blue he was breathing- but just barely..
"griff!" Harper said tearing up
"He'll be at the hospital we'll see you there" the police said the Campbell's and dunns went into cars and drove to the hospital Griffin's Mom asked about seeing her son while Harper was tired she nearly fell asleep on the car ride there
"Maybe we should go home baby.." Mrs Dunn said to her daughter who was really tired
"Please can I see him.." Harper asked
"We'll see baby.." Mrs Dunn said as she got up "lets go get food while we wait you coming hon?" Mrs Dunn asked turning to her daughter and the Campbell's
"No I wanna stay here" Harper said as the Campbell's got up Zoey turned to Harper
"He'll be okay right harps?" Zoey asked worried
"He will."
"Promise harps?" Zoey asked
"Pinky promise now go get some food zozo" Harper said as the Campbell's walked to get food with mrs Dunn and topher
Harper blinked slowly then blinked slowly again and got up to use the bathroom but her vision went blank then she woke up at her house in her bed it was Saturday she slept a whole day Mrs Dunn walked to her daughter
"Hey baby"
"Is Griffin okay?!" Harper asked immediately before anything else
"He's fine he just woke up but he had frost bite and he needs to stay at the hospital till Tuesday morning" Mrs Dunn explained Harper sighed and smiled
"Good." Harper said as her mom gave her some pancakes
"We can see him in two hours if you're up to it" Harper's mom said as she put O.J next to Harper's stand then took off Harper's bonnet And sat it on her vanity (yes harper got a vanity she fancy 😘💅🏻)
"That be nice." Harper said as she put powder sugar on her pancakes(DONT ASK THERE GOOD THAT WAY GO AHEAD AND JUDGE ME!-)
"Alright finish your breakfast in bed and we'll get ready to go we have a place to stop" Harper's mom said walking out after 1 hour Harper went downstairs in a winter outfit kinda like the one she wore before(check diaazzes book rq if you don't know what I mean) but instead black her hair was in a braid
"K you ready harps?" Harper's mom asked
"Yeah" Harper nodded
"toph lets go" Harper's mom said as they walked out to the car. After a while they stopped not at the hospital but at the graveyard harper did find it strange they had 2 flowers 1 get well soon flowers 2. Funeral flowers they walked to harpers dads grave and put flowers next to it
"Its your dads birthday today so I figured you might wanna see him today" harpers mom said while Harper teared up and she nodded
"Happy birthday dad.." Harper and topher said tearing up
"K lets get to the hospital" Harper mom said as they all went to the car after a while they arrived at the hospital and went to griffin
"Griff!" Harper rushed to griffin holding his hand
"Hey harps.. So-sorry about the date it was awfu-" Griffin was cut off by Harper kissing him
"You never shut up do you?" Harper said joking around
"No I dont" griffin said
"I'm glad your okay." Harper said
"Guess you could say I was the ice prince for a moment" griffin chuckled
"And I was the sleeping beauty." Harper chuckled
"You are a beauty" griffin said kissing Harper
"And your my prince" harper said kissing Griffin back
