As you may have noticed from the long break I've been taking since the last chapter, writing this book isn't going well for me.
I don't have the time and attention needed to write a historical fantasy book right now. Plain and simple. I bit off more than I can chew with this plot and what I would like to do with the world building. I'm noticing I'm not giving this story the attention it requires and deserves, which means I'm not producing the quality I'd like.
It's also not doing good things for my mental health and happiness to just let it sit here unfinished, knowing I'm not giving it the love it deserves but also not ending it. I don't want to keep you, the readers, in the dark either.
Since I don't want to leave people completely hanging, if you would like a summary of the plot, I will gladly upload that in an additional chapter. Let me know in the comments if that's the case!
My sincerest apologies, but I'm going to put this book on hold for the foreseeable future.
Best,
Eden
