Sometimes

Sometimes I drive very fast.

I'll press my foot down hard onto the gas,
With thoughts in my head that hoped I would crash.
It doesn't take long for these feelings to pass.

Releasing my foot and decreasing my speed,
I give out a scream as I let my heart bleed.
To be loved by you is just what I need,
But with how things are, I surely won't plead.

Sometimes I think that the love is
mutual.

Doesn't bother me even if It's unusual.
Other times I fear I might be delusional.
What more can you say that could be excusable?
