"Babe is your suitcase ready?" Mark asked as he walked into her apartment
As Mark and Sooa prepared for their trip to Canada to be with his family, the atmosphere in her house was filled with excitement and anticipation.
Sooa, rummaging through her suitcase: "I swear I've packed and repacked this bag a dozen times. Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something?"
Mark started chuckling "Probably because you keep overthinking it. Trust me, we've got everything we need. And even if we forget something, we can buy it there"

"I can't wait to see you all sweaty when you meet my family"
"Can't wait for that" he smiled and kissed her "now, we need to get going"
As they double-checked their belongings, the conversation turned to the adventures that awaited them in Canada.
"Get ready to experience some real Canadian winters,babe. I hope you packed your warmest coat." Mark said
"Are you saying my fashion-forward winter coat won't cut it in the Great White North?" Sooa said mocking him
"Let's just say, you might need to layer up a bit more than usual. But don't worry, I'll be your personal heater." He laughed
"Oh, lucky me. I'll make sure to keep you around for warmth, then."
Their playful banter continued as they finished packing and made their way to the airport. The journey ahead promised new experiences and precious moments with Mark's family, but for now, they were content to enjoy each other's company and the shared excitement of embarking on this adventure together.
At the airport, as they waited to board their flight, Sooa was still nervous but Mark knowing her just grabbed her and hugged her tight.

They entered the taxi towards his house, although his family volunteered to pick them up. Mark said there was no need.
Their lighthearted talked continued as they arrived at Mark's family home. The door swung open, revealing a flurry of activity as Sooa's family eagerly welcomed her back.
Mark's Mom, enveloping her in a hug: "Sooa, sweetheart, it's so good to see you! You look even more beautiful than I remember."

"Hello! I'm Mark, your son ." Mark said stunned that his own mom doesn't pay him attention
"It's no use. Your girl is part of the family now" His dad told him involved him with his arms
"Hey dad"
"Sooa is looking good and you my brother... you look tired" his brother showed up
The warm and inviting atmosphere immediately put them both at ease.
As they settled in, his family couldn't resist and tease him a little bit more.
"So, Sooa, does Mark snore? Or talk in his sleep? We need all the juicy details."
"Sorry to disappoint, but Mark's sleep habits are classified information. You'll have to pry that out of him yourselves." She said laughing
"I have no idea what you're talking about. And don't listen to him. I never snored"
The room was filled with laughter the warmth, creating a sense of belonging that Sooa and Mark cherished.
As dinner came to a close, his mom couldn't help but tease him about his apetite
"Mark, I hope you saved room for dessert."
