New Scene Flashback Four year earlier when our father passed away

Kevin talking over

" I attended the funeral and even presented a talk much to the annoyance of my brothers who insisted on the vicar seeing it pre ceremony. Of course if I wanted to mention singlism and discrimination I was not going to give advanced warning. Some people have no brains!"

Prior to the service in house Scene (Parents home) one of the rooms

(Gareth Markey aggressively comes up to Kevin Finger pointing announcing)

GARETH

" AFTER THIS SERVICE I'M NOT GOING TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOU!"

Also In the room is Shaun Markey taking Katie (his eldest daughter) out of the room

SHAUN

" Come on Katie!" (he insisted as a controlling father would do!)

"We're not staying here!"

Meekly Katie obliged. (Katie meekly leaves the room behind her father looking second best.)

Meanwhile Kevin carries on chatting to a male guest, sitting down. He introduces himself as Ken Lowe from Wigan

Kevin Stands up, walks to the pulpit and reads his prepared speech

As he reads the crowded church, listen intently except for two boys in the front row.

They just look down do not listen or show any interest

Every day I enjoy the daily trip to work (travel to Bristol)

Train hurtling through Berkeley Road

One platform of the station now still remaining

just like its glory days

And the Branch line veers off to Sharpness docks

Stop over once for by Her majesty' and the Royal train

There Dads old signal box

High up on the bank

has now disappeared

It was here long before it was invented

That my brothers and I enjoyed our first work experience
