Mattheo Riddle

Mattheo hadn't seen you in a few days. You had been writing and everything seemed okay, but you kept making excuses as to why you couldn't meet him.

Gradually the worry grew in him, you were important to him, and he couldn't continue his days with the thought that you weren't well.

So, he came to see you in your room that day. He knocked a few times and called your name but got no answer. He tried to open the door and was lucky; it opened.

He entered slowly. The first thing he noticed was that the room was completely dark. Not even a small light was on. When he turned on the light, he discovered you lying in bed. You weren't asleep, but you were staring blankly at the wall.

"Princess?" Mattheo said cautiously as he approached you.

"Turn the light off again..." you mumbled quietly to yourself, not taking your eyes off the wall.

Mattheo did as you asked and switched the light off again. He felt his way to the bed and lay down on it, behind you, and gently pulled you into his arms. He pressed a kiss to the back of your head and buried his face in the crook of your neck.

"Tell me what's wrong my beautiful... you know I'm always here for you..." he whispered gently and began to stroke your stomach and your arm carefully.

"I don't want to talk about it..." you said softly. You really weren't in any mood for human interaction, and yet Mattheo's voice and his touch did something good to you, so you gratefully accepted his touch and snuggled closer to him.

His arms around you tightened a little. He spread gentle kisses on your neck and cheek.

"We don't have to talk if you don't want to. But you need to know that I'm always here if you need anything. Whether it's to listen, to talk, or to hurt someone who has hurt you, my princess. And whatever is going on right now: you don't have to go through it alone."

Theodore Nott

Theodore knew something was wrong. You've been in a different mood for a few days, not as full of life as usual.

The fact that you no longer asked if he had time for you and that you no longer met him at the Astronomy Tower for your late-night talks, worried him all the more.

Theodore wasn't the kind of guy who always approached others about their problems straight away. He was a good friend in such matters but felt that you should speak up when something was on your mind.

But you were still his girlfriend and he loved you. It was important to him that you were well.

He looked for you that day and it took him quite a while to find you, but when he finally did, his heart tightened a little. You sat huddled in a corner of a corridor with tears running down your cheeks.

Theodore immediately came to you, crouched down next to you and pulled you close. "Oh, cara mia, what's wrong? Please, don't cry. I'm here for you, bellissima." he said in a gentle voice as he brushed the tears from your cheeks and looked you in the eye.

"I-I-I..." you began, but your voice broke.

"Shhh, it's all right. Calm down for now, we have enough time to talk. I won't leave you alone so soon."

He took you gently in his arms and stroked your back lovingly as he listened to your sobs and trembling slowly calm down.

"It's getting too much for me Theo. All the studying, the exams... this pressure... it's too much and I just don't know what to do anymore..." you explained when you were able to speak again.
