There's this girl. She's affected by the obstacles in the world. She lives her life to the fullest, for she believes her life may not be the longest. She doesn't know how to face the reality of the facts, so she prays to God hoping he will react. She has more than a few regrets. There are some things she'd like to forget. Depression had its way of getting her down, so she numbed the pain when no one was around. One day her addiction took a turn for the worst. Eight days later, her body was discovered in a hurst. She felt it coming, but she didn't know when. Before this all happened, she looked to confide in a friend. Family and friends pretended like they didn't hear her crying out. Now at the funeral, they want to scream and shout. This is an age old story that never gets old. This is a poem about a troubled soul.
